We stayed here for the 1st week of our married life! From when we arrived to when we reluctantly left, it was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous private outdoor space, to the luxury inside the carriage, it was stunning and every small detail has been thought of. We will most definitely be returning when we can!

Porter's Rest was one of our highlands on this trip. We stayed for one night and thought about returning at a later point of the trip (only reason we didn't is that it unfortunately didn't cross our route again). For us, it had something magical. Especially the outdoor bath and the record player made it a memorable experience. It was clean, comfortable an had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our stay very much as the weather was superb. We were very impressed with the Wee Chip. The only negative thing was that there was a very damp smell in the bathroom which permiated through to the wardrobe in the main bedroom making our clothes smell damp. We assume you are aware of this and things are in hand to rectify it

The caravan is situated looking out over Loch Creran. It is spacious and comfortable with everything that is needed for a good time. The area is excellent for walking and cycling with a cycle path right next to the site. Highly recommended.
We chose Appin holidays to be near to family over the Christmas break. The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable and suited our needs. The views over the loch were ever changing as the weather changed and clouds rolled in and out.
Beautiful location. caravan on lochside Views spectacular. very well equipped kitchen utensils everything we needed . Caravan in need of some updating. Gas fire only for heating. Plug in heater x2 for bedrooms. The sunset was amazing also moonlight. Host Jim could not do enough for us. Would return as friends in another caravan very very comfortable with gas central heating radiators throughout. Will return but not to caravan H. Was a little cold. Great place. Haste ye back.

Excellent home, beautifull location suited our needs perfectly for a pet friendly accomodation. Our lodge (Oak tree) was not updated at our visut, but the updated versions look stunning on the outside and inside.
A lovely week on the shore of Loch Creran - lovely spot to relax in after a day on the hills. Caravan L had everything I needed and lack of wi-fi was actually a good thing as I spent more time away from a screen than I would have done otherwise (mobile signal very good 5G mostly so used phone as hotspot when I couldn’t resist!). Will likely revisit at some point in the future but may try a lodge next time.
Great location with lots of good information offered about places to visit. Thanks again for putting the heaters on so we arrived to a warm and cosy caravan.
Excellent lodge and lovely and comfortable. Because of weather conditions, would suggest chicken wire on decking ramp and top. Otherwise really enjoyed scenery and views, quite spectacular. Would definatly return.
Family members were looking for a stay with views - this caravan provided a brilliant view, right beside the loch edge. The van was spacious, comfy and well presented.
The lodge was comfortable, with all facilities we required. The location is incredible, ideal for what we wanted and handy for many great places to visit.
Really enjoyed my break. Warm, cosy and comfortable Jim was very helpful. Nice walks at the back. Comfy bed too.
We booked both caravans G and F as a family. The location is stunning! I will certainly be recommending to all our friends back home in the New Forest.
We had a fantastic stay at Squirrel Drey lodge in Appin. Great value for money, clean, modern, spacious, warm & cosy. Absolutely stunning location!
