We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time together as a large family group. The cottages were clean, well equipped and the setting was absolutely lovely. Everything worked smoothly from arrival to departure and the contactless check in was very easy. The customer service really stood out. Just a perfect property to stay to see York and surrounds. Quiet, peaceful, comfy and super clean. Everything you need for an easy break in this lovely place. Highly recommend for couples and it can be booked for groups as well - excellent place for a family reunion.
Really enjoyed the spacious cottage have stayed there before would highly recommend to anybody so peaceful over the weekend the staff and cleaners are brilliant, including the manager and owner Corrina.
We booked this cottage last minute and wow — what a find! The location is excellent, with a bus stopping right outside, taking you straight into York city centre. Super convenient! Right next door is the Web Adventure Park, which was absolutely perfect for our 3 and 8-year-olds — hours of fun and just steps away! The cottage itself was warm, spacious, and beautifully laid out. The interior suited both kids perfectly, and the beds were super comfy — a great night's sleep all round. Only thing our 3-year-old missed was a bath… but she survived! We stayed at Knavesmire Cottage for 2 nights for my daughter’s Hen Weekend. The booking was simple and everything was explained to us. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space - plenty of room for the 10 it sleeps. There was hand wash in all of the bathrooms and plenty of toilet rolls. The kitchen was huge with two large fridge freezers, which were fully utilised with the amount of drink and food we had for our weekend. We had a wonderful stay at this charming 1-bedroom cottage in York. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The parking was a great bonus, and the cottage itself was surrounded by beautiful greenery, making it feel peaceful and private. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, with easy access to York and the surrounding area. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Overall, a lovely place that was reasonably priced when considering the price of nearby hotels - we’d happily return next year
What a property! We had the best time for my hen party. The property was well equipped and great to host large parties. The beds were in need of a little work, but apart from that everything was spot on. Great location in to York centre, really friendly! Will be back soon
