Self-catering holiday accommodation beside the River Earn in Perthshire. At the edge of the village of Bridge of Earn, only 3 miles from Perth. Comfortable and cosy lodges with free WiFi. Lots to do and see in the area:explore lochs and glens, visit ancient castles, play golf, fish, ski, walk, climb, cycle, relax ...
I have visited the lodges many times over the last 20 years or so and will continue to do so.
There are local walks and shops in and around Bridge of Earn if you don’t fancy getting in the car.
The city of Perth, the Grampians and the East Coast attractions are all easily accessible.
The lodges face Moncrieffe Hill which is well worth a climb. The 360 view from the top is fantastic.
All in all a great place to stay.
We were there for a family wedding in the area. The lodge was fabulous, spotlessly clean and the park area was fabulous as all our children no were able to play while we could watch from the terrace. Would most definitely recommend.
This is such a great place to stay if you are with your family or groups of families. We were up for a wedding nearby to Perth and took up 3 of the cabins. Very comfortable and well equipped, these were ideal as a base for the weekend. Mary and John are so welcoming, kind and helpful it was a real pleasure to stay there. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the surrounding countryside is magnificent - we even saw beavers in the river which flows alongside the site.
We have been coming to Scotland (its beautiful and nice people)every few years for vacationing ,many times. This time we had quite a bit of bad luck (hotel cancellations without notifying and flight cancellations and delays ,car rentals that were all set then gave us trouble ,hotels that were not unlocked for hours after check in time) But EVERYONE at the RiIVERS EDGE were simply WONDERFUL! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Rivers Edge is one of the few good memories we returned from vacation with.
We had a wonderful stay at this holiday lodge. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The customer service was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
The location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions while still being peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to visiting again!
We stayed in lodge 14 for 5 nights with our grandchildren aged 10 and 13. They loved feeding the goats and going on errands to the shop - mainly for ice cream, due to the warm weather. Chalet was ideal for 4 with ample outside space. We found loads of places to go for days out and no one wanted to go home.
Really nice location with lots to do in the area. Lodge is great with all amenities you'd need. Good space outside with some nice goats to visit on the site
Owners were lovely, very helpful and good communication.
