A lovely peaceful place to stay. Our lodge was comfortable, had everything we needed and very reasonably priced.
John and Mary are a pleasant couple and very obliging.
The local Co-op is a 2 minute walk away and has all the items we wanted. We didn't need to go further afield for anything.
We highly recommend this place.
Lovely time at River Edge Lodge. Quiet and Peaceful, Lodge clean and with full amenities. Ideal for accessing lots of places and activities around the south East of Scotland.
We have been coming to Scotland (its beautiful and nice people)every few years for vacationing ,many times. This time we had quite a bit of bad luck (hotel cancellations without notifying and flight cancellations and delays ,car rentals that were all set then gave us trouble ,hotels that were not unlocked for hours after check in time) But EVERYONE at the RiIVERS EDGE were simply WONDERFUL! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Rivers Edge is one of the few good memories we returned from vacation with.
The lodges are in a lovely setting in well kept garden grounds. There is a play area for children. Very comfortable beds and well equipped lodge. The only thing we couldn't find were oven gloves! The Lodges are 5 mins from the local facilities. The Bridge of Earn is very convenient for travelling around the area and beyond.
Our Lodge had lovely views over the river, with cattle grazing on the other side - it was all very picturesque and peaceful.
Our daughter was quite taken by the two goats in a near- by enclosure and enjoyed feeding them scraps of bread.
The Lodge was clean, comfortable and self contained. The host was helpful and friendly.
Our family enjoyed staying at river edge lodges. We will definitely be back. Clean, well equipped and quiet location. The lodge was located nearby the Netherton Equestrian centre which met our needs for the four nights.
Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a local wedding at rossie on earn, very convenient location. Everything we required was supplied and an added bonus was a later check out. Lovely surroundings and well kept.
