We loved the setting for the Lodges …the Lodge itself was spacious with a well supplied kitchen if needed . It was April and the flowers and trees in the surrounding area were beautiful . We didn’t have time to enjoy the decking . The heating and hot water were east to use . We liked that we could easily walk into Bridge of Earn for some lovely food on the Friday evening . Highly recommend !
River Edge Lodge No.5 was our choice for a short break due to its Wet Room for people with limited mobility. Most of this review will be for people who want to know about this aspect. The shower area has grab rails to two sides, a shower curtain, and a folding shower stool is supplied. There is a grab rail by the toilet. There are no hoists or changing tables. The rest of the lodge is a standard layout so doorways can be tricky to manage in a wheelchair. Furniture is non-adapted, kitchen work surfaces are standard height. We have been coming to Scotland (its beautiful and nice people)every few years for vacationing ,many times. This time we had quite a bit of bad luck (hotel cancellations without notifying and flight cancellations and delays ,car rentals that were all set then gave us trouble ,hotels that were not unlocked for hours after check in time) But EVERYONE at the RiIVERS EDGE were simply WONDERFUL! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Rivers Edge is one of the few good memories we returned from vacation with.
Had a course in the area for a month so stayed at River Edge Lodges. Was a perfect lodge with everything we needed. My wife loved being able to feed the resident goats! Mary and John were amazing and were always on call if we needed anything. Couldn’t recommend more.
Very clean and had everything you needed. The view out of our lodge was lovely. There was more space inside that it looked and was comfortable enough for 5 adults for 2 night.
Just back from a lovely stay at river edge, the park is well kept with plenty space between lodges, inside they are cosy, homely and spotless with everything you could possibly need. Communication wirh Mary was excellent from booking out break right up to the day before our stay with a welcome text . John and Mary are fantastic hosts we will definitely be booking again, and would highly recommend River edge lodges
Such a warm welcome from the owners and had a fabulous 2 night stay. Loved the setting and beautiful gardens. Easy to find and great little village with shops within walking distance.
Have stayed at the Lodge a few times and it's a very peaceful place to stay. Well kept grounds and the accommodation always spotless. Mary and John do a very good job
Highly recommend this place. Lovely, relaxing spot. Mary & her husband are super friendly and very helpful. We will be back.
