Lovely, clean lodge, very well equipped and settled within lovely well kept grounds. It is ideally located for touring round central Scotland. Would definitely recommend.
Had a lovely stay in my lodge - location is perfect - quiet and peaceful but close to local shops and town. Mary & John are brilliant hosts and go above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay
Located in the peaceful village of Bridge of earn, this immaculate lodge is pure serenity. Spotless, beautifully equipped with every amenity, and cared for with real love.
Hosts John and Mary are simply wonderful – warm, friendly, and brilliantly attentive; nothing is too much trouble and you feel like family from the minute you arrive.
Younger children will love the safe little play area and the super-friendly goats that come running when you visit the pen with treats. I even made friends with a fearless robin who would wait on the decking table, peering in until I put out their daily bread...more
We have been coming to Scotland (its beautiful and nice people)every few years for vacationing ,many times. This time we had quite a bit of bad luck (hotel cancellations without notifying and flight cancellations and delays ,car rentals that were all set then gave us trouble ,hotels that were not unlocked for hours after check in time) But EVERYONE at the RiIVERS EDGE were simply WONDERFUL! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Rivers Edge is one of the few good memories we returned from vacation with.
We stayed at the River Edge Moncreiff Lodge while we attended a family wedding for 2 nights. The lodge was at the highest standard for comfort and cleanliness. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
The owner is extremely considerate and helpful . We have stayed several times and found the accommodation very cosy and comfortable with excellent outdoor space for children to enjoy .
We stayed at River Edge lodges in the off season for a month between houses and it was a brilliant experience, could not fault it at all. Very comfortable, clean and spacious and a fantastic location on the edge of the river and within an easy 3 minute walk of shops, bars, restaurants and takeaways. Also some fantastic walks on the door step and numerous buses to many different places from the village
John and Mary couldn’t have been any friendlier or welcoming and very helpful. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely highly recommend.
What a lovely place to stay. The lodges were quiet, clean and comfortable and in a lovely setting down by the river. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming during my stay. In a perfect location too, with a Co-op and a couple of lovely pubs a roughly 2 minute walk away. Perfect!
