We took our company to Tom's Eco Lodge for a two night stay- the Domes themselves are absolutely beautiful and in a stunning location- there's nothing more you could want for- and I'd highly recommend staying here - it's stunning.
Great house for our group and such a bonus to be next to Tapnell farm with all the facilities and such a beautiful location- we will definitely Italy be back!
The house was lovely everything needed is provided. Excellent location only one small problem found with the shower in one of the bedrooms.
We stayed in the Piglet as we were attending a wedding at the venue. Despite the awful weather we had, the Piglet was warm, cosy and every detail was catered for. The bathrooms are amazing! We will be back when the weather is better to enjoy the stunning location.
We had a fantastic 3 nights stay in Dome 4. All the comforts and things we needed. We loved it and will be back.
This was our 2nd time visiting Tapnell Farm and staying in one of their Eco Domes. They are a perfect option for us as the location is idyllic with lovely open views, it's close to Tapnell Farm which has activities, a shop and a restaurant. We would definitely recommend this to friends and families!

We want to thank Mel, Chloe and all the team at East Afton for making our wedding the most special and memorable day ever. We genuinely would not have changed a thing, it was so perfect and ran so much better than we could have ever imagined. The day was so smooth, Mel is amazing at coordinating and we did not have to even think or lift a finger to make our day happen. She was so calm and made us feel relaxed too on our day. Stayed here with family of 17 for my wife and myselves "50th" The house is fantastic, very spacious and comfortable, two of our grandsons are Chefs and they were very impressed with the kitchen and all the utensils and appliances as they were cooking our Anniversary meal. The bedrooms were well decorated and beds comfortable with en-suites. The Annexe was well equiped and nicely furnished. We all enjoyed the cinema room, a really chilled area. We stayed in the Snug prior to the wedding showcase at East Afton Farmhouse. Even though there were guests nearby, it felt to private and lovely. It had everything you’d want for a weekend getaway, we loved cooking on the barbecue and making breakfast in the small kitchen.
Attending a family funeral on the island we were struggling to find suitable dog friendly accommodation. We were lucky to stumble upon Dome Meadow at Tapnell Farm. As pensioners we wondered how we would get on with our Glamping experience. This 5 star accommodation exceeded our expectations. From the fabulous views, luxurious shower, fully equipped modern kitchen, and comfortable beds we were set. The icing on the cake was the log burner, which we used as the weather was inclement. Really nice accommodation in a lovely setting, the house was comfortable with everything needed for our stay (the eggs and milk provide was a nice touch) Would definitely stay again
Loved the wood cabin it was spacious and clean.. loved the little touch of including basics like milk, tea,sugar, washing up Liquid.. also freshly laid eggs. The decking outside on warmer days would be lovely.
Has a fantastic 2 night stay in a modulog this weekend. Great location with amazing views, the log burning tub is an added bonus which we loved lounging in both nights!
Me & my partner surprised my mum for new year 3 day stay in moduloge for her retirement we had such a lovley time very clean and very comfortable all staff we came across were very friendly we will defo be back Thank you x
My 10yr old daughter and I stayed with you for 1 night. We would have stayed longer if more nights had been available. What a gorgeous little spot! Cozy pod with a stunning view. We will be coming back very soon.
We had a great time in this spacious property, everyone really enjoyed themselves (we were six adults and a toddler) and the access to Tapnell Farm was so great! The kitchen area is so lovely and communication with our hosts was so quick and easy!
This was the 4th time we've stayed in the Domes and it's always brilliant - clean, cosy, very well-equipped and with fantastic customer service. We will definitely be back!
A wonderdul place to stay with young children. So much to do and so much excitement for little ones. A perfect little getaway. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back!
We were very impressed with our stay in the modulog. We had everything we needed for a comfortable week in the cabin. Our meal at The Cow was great. Hot tub was great once we figured out how to use the fire to heat it up correctly. No complaints and would definitely return.
We had a wonderful few days at Tapnell Farm, getting together with cousins in neighbouring safari tents. We loved the safari tent - very comfortable and spacious, well equipped etc. The beds were super comfy and cosy and we appreciated the electric blankets and extra blankets to snuggle up in! Having a fire pit that is safe for smaller kids to be around was fab, it meant everyone could enjoy roasting marshmallows once it got dark. Perfectly presented and very comfortable. Prep for fires and materials for BBQ made it very easy to use. Only niggle was the oven controls were very hard to understand, we struggled to use. Also try’s were very lose and some fell out of racks.
We attended a wonderful wedding at East Afton Farm and stayed conveniently on site in a cosy “Piglet”. It was spotlessly clean, compact and warm, with a very comfy double bed, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, with crockery and cutlery supplied. A barbecue + fuel, outdoor seating and table were provided. Each of the 4 Piglets had their own spacious washroom just a short walk away. Again the facilities were perfectly clean and well planned with a large shower, hairdryer and space for storage of clothing / luggage. Loved staying at Tapnell farm and only stayed for one evening for a break. A couple of thoughts for improvement: could you allow cars to park up to unload only? I’m 63 years old and wheeling the barrow full of mine and the dogs luggage across freshly laid wood chip was extremely challenging and I am still in pain! Also, the bed that is made up needs some kind of shelf and a socket for lap top/phone. Otherwise, I will look forward to a longer stay in the future
It was lovely and welcoming to have the cabin preheated for our arrival. Thank you for allowing an early check-in and a later departure. Well-equipped - small detail - suggest table mats to protect wooden table and also a stand/mat for hot things out of the oven.
Lovely domes with an outdoor fire pit and indoor wood burner. Super cosy. Kitchen stocked with all necessary utensils. Clean, well maintained. Very green and calm location. Nature, so a lot of insects, especially at night as attracted to light (keeping doors/windows closed helped). We were hoping to see some stars but was cloudy the whole time we were there. Single lane farm road to get there and bit far from shops (though not an issue if you are prepared and have your own ingredients - there is a fridge) - there is a farm shop but it wasn’t well stocked with fresh produce when we visited ...more
This manor house has beautiful views across the countryside and to the sea beyond. Beautiful bedrooms and fantastic, communal spaces. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. We had a fantastic time and we are booking again for next year. Thoroughly enjoyed by everybody.
My best glamping experience. Super comfortable and beautiful tents. Great farm shop and restaurant on site. Lots to do. Amazing value for money. We’ll definitely be back.
Lovely stay in the safari tent despite the wind and rain. Also very warm inside with all the fires and heated blankets.
Perfect for glamping! Comfortable necessities to make you feel comfortable- especially with the hot shower and private toilet! The children loved it as they got the camping experience while the adults got the added extra comfort! We particularly enjoyed the private fire pit outside the tent. It was also great that charcoal, wood logs etc was provided. All in all a great experience.
A group of us stayed at Dairyman’s Cottage for a wedding, and it was fantastic. There was enough room for 8 adults plus 4 children. The location was perfect and there was so much to do at Tapnell farm. We had a great stay!
What a pleasure it was to come back to Poachers Perch. Easy to book and excellent communication prior to our visit. It is a perfect base for a family to explore the Island, with the luxury of all the activities & amenities of Tapnell Farm Park on the door step. Such a bonus to be able to visit the park on several days over our stay for one fee. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and quiz night at The Cow. I am certain we will be back to stay again soon! :)
Very nice - but small and compact- shower block was clean and large - would have been nice to have a non slip shower Matt as both of us have had knee surgery- replacement- so scared of slipping- and the shower base was extremely slippery. Also felt it not on to pay over £100 a night and still expected to strip the beds and empty bins . A chair in the piglet would have been great and maybe put the charcoal and lighters in a waterproof storage bin outside
