This is the perfect base for exploring Folkestone. You can walk to the harbour and high street in no time at all. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my short stay in Folkestone. Keepers Cottages were fantastic to deal with too - I will definitely be using them again.
The Admiral Penn is the perfect social house for a large group of friends. It has all the amenities to have a really fun stay in Deal. The house is to an incredibly high standard and in the perfect location. Highlights include the basement cinema room and the bar with ice machine/wine cooler/fridge/cocktail shaker that looks out to sea. Check in process and host contact was very easy and efficient too.

My daughter and two grandsons stayed here. The very much enjoyed their stay. They found the cottage comfortable and well equipped, although it is a bit of a trip to the toilet in the middle of the night! It's very convenient for the beach and a short walk into the town. They were able to park right outside the house much of the time, and nearby the rest of the time. I think it would help visitors if the instructions could say where rubbish should be left on the rubbish collection day.
This cottage was just perfect. It has been beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. The beds are so comfy too. It is the perfect location for exploring the area. We walked down to the beach and had a fabulous meal at The Zetland Arms on the first night. The second night we cooked in the small but well equipped kitchen and ate in the gorgeous garden. We had a great stay at The Loft. The property has been refurbished to a high standard and very tastefully done. Everything you could need is provided and the location is perfect. set one street back from the beach, you are 30 seconds from The Old Neptune pub and the sea! We loved our stay and will certainly consider staying again!
We had the delight of being the first visitors for 2024 so the house was spotless - literally. It made a stay in Dover much more bearable as we were there for work. The owners had put great attention to detail to what a visitor may need for their stay. We rebooked following a quick 5 day trip to Oostende for a few more days rather than the Premier Inn. The walk over the hill behind the house was lovely too when the sun decided to make an appearance. Nice to have that on your doorstep.
I think we picked the coldest weekend of this winter but The Drift cottage was warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean with lots of added extras, plus the added bonus of a parking space which I was able to get my Mini Countryman on. There’s a nice decking area which unfortunately was much to cold to sit on, a nice touch for the summer though. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and pubs, perfect all round.
A lovely stay at Riley Cottage in Deal. Well equipped, comfortable beds and a great location in Deal close to the sea, high street and brilliant restaurants. Would book again.
We had a lovely stay in this bijou and well equipped lodge. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of ducks and moorhens and the location was perfect for visiting Deal, Whitstable, Walmer and Dover. Great hosts and a cosy cabin.
The pink house is a beautiful house right in the Georgian part of Deal, one street back from the beach. It is very well equipped, everything you could ever need ! We had large group of 8 in comfort and style. Would definitely use again, thank you - we all loved it!
My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Pier View cottage over Christmas 2024. We stayed for four nights, and especially enjoyed the beautiful view directly over the Deal pier, the luxurious bed, the goodies that Keepers Cottages had left for us in the kitchen. The flat could not be more centrally located, with all of Deal's restaurants and pubs within close walking distance. We highly recommend this location and Keepers Cottages!
I had a lovely short stay at this perfectly formed little house. It has been beautifully renovated and had everything I needed. As I was there in early March, I made good use of the woodburner! Customer Service was perfect too.
The house provided everything for a comfortable stay with a party of six. It is close to the town centre and beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Such a gorgeous place to spend a week. As a family of four this was a delightful place to stay. The open plan living and dining room was very helpful and the large outdoor space provided plenty of room for outdoor play. The facilities were immaculate right through the house and made for a very enjoyable stay (and the little touches in the fridge upon arrival were a lovely surprise). Would highly recommend.
It's obvious a lot of love and design flair has been put into this holiday home. Great location, very well and generously equipped (not just the bare minimum). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously at Lavender Apartment. Everything was as stated on the website, and more. The welcome pack was much appreciated, as we're recommendations to local restaurants etc. Walmer Castle was close by, and very enjoyable, as were our trips to Broadstairs and Sandwich. We would certainly stay at Lavender Apartment again should we revisit the area, and use Keepers cottages again, who were very friendly and helpful throughout.
The barn is awesome, light, airy and spacious. It is fitted to an extremely high standard with luxurious beds and bedding and comfy sofas. We did find a few of the little things missing such as oven gloves and bin bags and also had problems with the Internet. Steps were taken to rectify these issues and I suspect they were a one off.

We loved staying in Saltwater cottage - it is so perfect, well equipped and comfortable, and so tastefully decorated! Very cosy too - when the weather turned, we enjoyed using the log burner and on the sunny days we used the BBQ and enjoyed the little garden. The beds are super comfortable with very good quality linens. Slept like a dream! We would love to return!

We had a fabulous New Year with family and friends at Downs Cottage. The house is stunning and its location right next to the beach made our stay really special. We absolutely loved the open plan kitchen / lounge area, a perfect place to host a gathering of family and friends.
We spent Christmas at this gorgeous house and we can’t thank the Keepers team enough! This was one of the most special family occasions we’ve had to date and it’s all thanks to us being able to stay in one of the most beautiful houses in Kent! Stayed over a period of unplanned works at our property. Despite being arranged at very short notice this beautifully appointed cottage was a real haven from the chaos. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable and felt much larger on the inside than it looks. The secure garden (for our little cockerpoo) led right to the short path to the beach. We were staying in January in icy temperatures and it was warm and welcoming. With the direct views straight to sea from the rear rooms, it would be an enchanting place to stay at any time of the year. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful lodge, clean and comfortable and only a 10-15 minute walk to the seafront. It had everything that we needed, the bed was really comfy and the towels were good quality as well. It would have been good to have instructions for the oven, I’m a bit of a technophobe and there were so many symbols, I couldn’t work out which one was just the fan, so had to google it! This lodge is in the owners garden (which is very nice) but it’s smaller than I expected , plus the bamboo screens which are mentioned in the description, were not there! While we arrived to find scaffolders and painters working on the outside of the property (information we had not been made aware of in advance) our correspondence with Amy at Keepers cottages gave us the timely information we needed and this didn’t spoil our sea views from either floor, or impact our stay. Sea Rose Cottage is an excellent little cottage to base yourself in if you want to explore the seaside towns of east Kent or just generally enjoy seaside activities. The house itself is neat, clean and comfortable and has parking. Service is top notch, couldn't ask for more. We've had some great self-catering stays but it's hosts like Nigel that make them all the more memorable. The beach is extremely close, quiet, and you can walk along the Kent Coast Path down to Dover or up to Deal, Sandwich and beyond. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
Looking forward to visiting again soon. Very comfortable felt like home. Ticked all our boxes for a good time.
The place was great to stay in, had everything you would need the bedroom was up some steepish stairs I have mobility issues (was warned beforehand) and found it a bit awkward the steps into the property were a bit difficult for me but if you have mobility issues, you'll find this property ideal for location for restaurants etc
We had a lovely time in Deal celebrating special family birthdays and hired the cottage for our family of 3. It is a very cosy and comfortable cottage with a fabulous location and is close to the Seafront plus shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep, so just be mindful if anyone has mobility or knee issues. The cottage came with a Welcome folder, which we found very useful, and some lovely welcome cookies and milk. We loved the 'flow' here - the open-plan layout of the ground floor was especially good for socialising, with the large kitchen leading on to the dining/living area and the enclosed garden. The kitchen was well stocked, with everything in a good condition (except the BBQ which disappointingly was too rusty to use). A lovely property which worked really well for our mixed group of three generations of our family plus a very small dog. All prior requests were met and available on arrival eg travel cot and high chair and we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the property was. The location is excellent as the house is very close to Deal High Street and all its amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Deal.

We had a lovely few days staying at Rogue’s cottage. It looked exactly like the photos and we loved the design and decor! Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy! Little things had been considered such as condiments, tea, coffee, tea towels l, wood for the fire- and the jar of tunnocks tea cakes were well received! Although a pint of milk would have been another nice little extra. It was nice that these extras were listed on the pre arrival info so I knew what to pack! A really comfortable and interesting house in the old part of Deal. Of the two living-rooms, that in the basement was especially lovely and cool, whilst the roof terrace was a great place to while away a sunny evening. The property has excellent facilities, including a bathroom, ensuite shower and three toilets. The stairs are quite steep, and you have to pay due regard to the clear messages to "mind your head" when gaining access to the roof. This is a great property with overall one of the highest standards of facilities, comfort and cleanliness we have stayed in. However, part of staying in a self-catering property is the ability to cook for oneself. The condition of the oven was such that eye stinging fumes were released when used. We were only there two nights but this would be a major problem over a longer stay.
A last minute booking and Keepers Cottages could not have been more helpful even appearing in person as we checked in to make sure all was well. A bottle of wine and crisps was a nice welcome touch to arrive to - (just one aside -some toiletries would have been nice). The cottage was well equipped and comfortable throughout. The location was perfect for the beach and the local restaurants and bars. A short stay for us and we were reluctant to leave particularly as the sun was shining. The cottage is excellent. It’s positioned a short drive from 3 fantastic golf courses so is perfect for a golf weekend. 4 large bedrooms meant we all had our own rooms. A small welcome pack of biscuits, milk and a few other bits was a welcome surprise. It’s a short walk to the town of Sandwich in the evening. Clean, warm and spacious the cottage is definitely somewhere I would recommend.
We absolutely loved our time at the boatmen’s reading rooms. The location is great, beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly! It was our 3rd time booking with Keepers Cottages in different locations in Deal and we always felt welcome and had a great time as a family.
We spent a long weekend at Bowden Lodge to celebrate my birthday and there was plenty of space for the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms, furnishings and decor were all very stylish and yet homely. The games room with the pool table was a great asset and well used by my grown up grandchildren but it also had plenty there for young children. The garden is large and we found a great space for playing cricket and football or just sitting on the terrace having a cup of coffee. We love staying at Lighthouse cottage, all the rooms are comfortable and especially love the sunroom for reading and the lovely back garden for hanging out in a quiet space. The house has everything we need for a comfortable relaxed stay for a week. The beach is pretty much on the doorstep and it's so lovely to be immersed right in the middle of the historic old town. So enjoyed our time here and it's probably the 5th time we have stayed at this cottage so we do very much enjoy it here and would recommend the house and Deal.
We spent 3 nights at Tally Ho over the Easter break and had a great time. The house is really comfortable and warm, with the added bonus of a secluded courtyard. The house was very clean and everything works well (although it took us a while to understand the induction hob, but that’s because we are not used to them.) If I can be really picky, I’ll say that the kitchen should have the basics such as olive oil, vinegar, coffee etc. overall, a really nice address to wind down and spend time as a family.
three adults stayed at the cottage to attend a memorial service. the cottage made the sad occassion bearable. Spotlessly clean. The only drawback was that the seating in the lounge was not that comfortable.

The Corner House is in a great location, handy for the high street, public transport and literally two minutes from the seafront. Having spent several months in this delightful house I can recommend it for comfort, style and for the very helpful staff at Keepers Cottages, most especially the professionalism of the cleaners who have kept the house sparkling clean. In short, a great place to stay, not least for all the first class restaurants nearby.
Very nice family weekend stay. The Old Barn is in excellent condition and very comfortable with everything you need. The location is great and a short distance to Sandwich high street with lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
After initial access issues, we were given the wrong key code, the flat proved to be almost idea. Excellent kitchen, a microwave would be nice though, and very comfortable throughout. Parking might be a problem in high season though.

The farmhouse, its facilities, the grounds and tennis court were all very good and as expected from the details provided when booking. The village itself was somewhat less the picturesque Kent than expected, and the nearby beaches rather rocky. Walmer castle is well worth a visit. All in all a great place to stay at home but not so great to explore.
This is a good sized house with three bedrooms. It is stylishly decorated and comfortable and well equipped (though we couldn't find any baking tray). It is very handy for the centre of Deal. But it is quite a busy road and we were lucky to be able to park in the street, though there is also parking in nearby streets. We had a very enjoyable time here and felt we got very good value for money.
Steadfast fulfilled all our needs for a great holiday home from home. It is located close to the high street where we found lovely little delis and places for a coffee. A short walk from the sea front and the quaint streets. We really enjoyed our stay
The cottage is perfectly located near the high street and the beach. It’s close enough to pop down with a sundowner and beach chairs to the beach early evening or visit one of the great shops on the high street in five minutes. It is very comfortable and well equipped although upstairs is quite small. The stairs would be a challenge for less mobile guests. We didn’t realise there wasn’t a dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem as we were just the two of us. It is also wonderfully quiet considering how close it is to all the amenities. We loved our stay there.

We decided to book a few days away last minute and could not have been more pleased with Flint House and Amy was so helpful managing our booking- so a very big thank you to Keepers Cottages. The house is perfect - such attention to detail and everything you need. Moments away from the beach with the Zetland Arms looking over the water. A lovely walk along the beach path to Deal is a perfect weekend jaunt - rewarded by fish and chips - and a game of cluedo by the log fire on our return - what’s not to love ! Wish we could have stayed longer !
We had a wonderful weekend at Glen Hill as a big group of 15. Great access to the sea and Deal, with amazing gardens. The house is lovely and full of character. The Keepers Cottage’s team were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any requests. Highly recommend!
Potters Cottage is nicely decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. However, as there is no door from the lounge down to the cellar, the living room and ground floor felt very chilly indeed at night. The second bedroom upstairs by contrast, was incredibly hot for our child to sleep there comfortably. There is a problem with the thermostat. The main thing was that there had clearly been an outbreak of moths prior to our visit as there were moth papers with dead moths stuck on them hung up everywhere in the cottage, which did not feel very hygienic at all, and it was a worry about unpacking...more

We had a great week. The weather was good. Location spectacular and decor inside and out stylish. Kitchen equipped generously and thoughtfully. Interesting part of the country....plenty to do. The "4"s are for the smallish double beds.
We are very pleased to have stayed in Sea View. It proved to be an excellent base for visiting Folkestone in the low season. Everything worked and was quite easy to understand. Heating easy to control once one had fathomed out that each room has independent controls. At our age low beds can be a challenge but otherwise, comfortable for us. Good restaurants very close by. Two minor points, the views are superb, even those outside of the bedroom windows looking out over Autumn trees and well maintained elegant houses, but it would have been helpful if we could have been forewarned that there ...more
Staying for a week, I feel more drawer space was needed for clothes etc. Every drawer supplied had owners possessions in. Cottage excellently placed and provided a very enjoyable week. Would suggest a mention in the review of the 3 flights of narrow stairs, which we found difficult to climb. Any unforseen problems Leanne was on hand to offer assistance.
We stayed while we were waiting to move into our new house nearby. It is a lovely cottage- a bit challenging (stairs) for people with mobility issues. Very well situated for shops, pubs, restaurants and the sea. The beds - mattress and pillows- were a bit soft for our taste. An issue with the heating was quickly & efficiently sorted out.
A lovely spot close to the sea and a 10 - 15 minute walk into the main drag of Deal. Clean, comfy, homey and well equipped. Be aware there are several uneven steps from the roadside parking to the street where the cottage is located. Also, I notified Keepers Cottages that there needs to be more information in the flat regarding the working of the various appliances, heating etc. It took me a while and a phone call to figure some things out as I am from Canada. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend.
The Flat in Deal is a lovely property in the heart of Deal. The flat is well kept and the beds are super comfy. There is a small outside space so you can bring a dog. Whilst we liked our flat, there was alot of noise both nights from the pub next door. It had loud music until well into the early hours. That was a pity for us as we were there for a relaxing getaway.
The property was great. Small but v cosy with a lovely wood burning stove. The Saturday market a few steps away was great and the usual attractions in Deal: cafe’s, shops, restaurants & pubs.
This cottage is perfectly refurbished and kitted out. A short walk to the main street (great bakery and coffee.) And a swift walk to the beach via the Neptune pub. We come to whitsable every year and this is the best house we've had yet!
The location was perfect. Garden lovely in the sunshine. Hot tub used and enjoyed. Needed a few more kitchen utensils eg: colander, newer tea towels. Downstairs shower needed a bit of a revamp and hot water in upstairs and downstairs showers needed to be better controlled as scalding hot. Handrail needed at bottom of stairs and upper bunk had steep ladder and not really suitable for an adult to access. All said, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you. We loved the house.❤️
We loved our three night stay in this charming character cottage. The house was well equipped with everything you could ask for and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. The cottage is ideally placed with the high street and beach just a couple of minutes walk from the property. It’s ideally placed for all the local pubs, bars, restaurants etc. Parking is the only issue as it’s all permit parking but you do get one hour to unload. We managed to park for free a couple of streets away but there are car parks not far away. We would definitely return and recommend this property.
We had a very enjoyable holiday at The Heights and found it a well set up house. My one small criticism is the convenience of watching the TV. There is not enough space in front of the TV with one person looking at it from the left side.
We absolutely loved the cottage and our stay in Deal! The location is superb with everything nearby but remains very quiet and peaceful. We loved going out in the morning to see the sunrise - it’s minute away so you can walk even in your pyjamas The place itself is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We had a wonderful weekend in Whitstable and Seascape was a great base for us. Short walk into the heart of Whitstable, once we parked we didn’t need our cars again until we checked out. Seascape was clean and really comfortable, lots of bathrooms which is an added bonus! It was the perfect house for a much needed girls weekend!
We enjoyed our stay at Victory Cottage. A few items: 1. Closer attention to cleaning should encouraged. 2. The main shower did not work properly when we arrived the hot water control did not work hence cold water. We suspect this was a known already and an existing matter. It took two days with two telephone calls and an email to rectify.
During our stay we enjoyed being able to watch films in the snug or sit by the fire in the living room playing games and reading. Our dog enjoyed the long walks along the beach ending in a local pub or on the pier in Deal. On Christmas day we were able to cook using the great facilities and sit at the dining table enjoying the view of garden.

We were absolutely wowed by the Moat Farm House! The photographs absolutely don't do it justice – it's a huge house with incredible decoration and objects adorning the walls and surfaces. It's also been refurbished to a high standard so it's incredibly warm, with beautiful bathrooms and outstanding kitchen facilities. We were a group of 4 families and had plenty of space. The adjoining cottage was a godsend for a couple with a young baby, and the rest of us had lots of room in the large bedrooms. Really Interesting place. Stylish, high end furnishings and comfortable. Couple of things would make it more welcoming. Lot of dust on lampshades and behind TV. I notice cos allergic. Little things like a bit of tin foil, kitchen paper, couple of herbs and bit of oil would be nice. Washing machine provided but no tablets or clothes horse. Not too much to ask really. Outside space really needs cleaning especially as looking at broken windows of another property. Appreciate, not a lot you can do about that but at least it's quiet apart from kitchen extractor. Our family spent a wonderful week in Malvern House in Deal. Close to the Beach and to Deal Castle we had lovely walks and a great time in and around Deal. The house US spacious and very cosy at the same time. The kitchen is well equipped, the baths are modern and very nice. The Keepers Cottages Team is always very helpful and extremely friendly. Can‘t wait to come back next year.
A low cost break for us and our daughter and grand daughter. One cold day out of the whole week but hey, it was April. Close to Deal and the beach so great for walking the dogs.
Plenty of space in this freshly decorated flat. We loved the views over the sea. It was an easy walk to Deal with its excellent restaurants. Busy road in front but no traffic at night. We had a very enjoyable stay.
The house is practically thoughtfully and generously provided to all guests. The beds are particularly comfortable and the downstairs shower is lovely! There is very very ample living space plus the garden and of course the amazing access to the beach just a moment away. The kitchen is as yours would be at home if you are something of a cook, you will enjoy it. everything works and everything is of a high standard, it feels a bit like going home because you can be comfortable within a few minutes. A wonderful place to stay for peace and quiet, and just switching off for a few days with family. Stand in front of the cottage, facing the fields ahead of you, and just listen to the soothing silence, a real change from our city life. Well-positioned for access to plenty of nice beaches, best of which was Ramsgate, less than 30 mins drive.
The cottage was ideally located. A stones throw from the beach, ideal for dogs and within easy reach of Deal, Sandwich and main roads to further afield. Unfortunately, the beds were awful. We slept 1 night in the master bedroom and the mattress was so awful we moved to the twin room. Again, the mattresses were so soft that we woke aching and unrested. We had a long weekend in Whitstable Friday to Monday. The flat is very well situated for the town and beach. It was very clean and comfortable and would stay again if we visited Whitstable again.
The house is stylishly decorated, but we prefer a house that has fewer accessories, to create more peace and space for our own stuff. Also, it feels dusty due to the accessories and amount of textiles (a lot of plaids, cushions, etc). The Keepers Cottages team is great though. In our first stay we had problems with the boiler system and the Keepers Cottages team provided a nice alternative with Noggin. The location is great, right on the beautiful Deal coast, close to the pier and all the restaurants. We had a great time at the Southeastern coast!
Returned to Blackhorse Loft and had a beautiful time, again. Well equipped with everything we wished for. Great location and super cozy. Loved it!
We have stayed at Reed loft once before in 2022 and booked straight away to come back in 2024 and it did not disappoint!! It was even better. We just love the location, the layout of the property beautifully done, great space for a family Christmas and they even provided a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The added bonus of a heated indoor pool and new sauna, gives it the wow factor. There were a couple of minor things such as a toilet seat that needed tightening but nothing that affected our stay. Oldstairs House, is a grand old lady. A bit creaky here and there, and worn in places, although clean and tastefully dressed. Kitchen well equipped and dining hall sat 10 comfortably. Beds were comfy and rooms were so dark and quiet at night, therefore good night’s sleep. Be aware that there is only one shower in the en-suite, no problem, but had to queue in the morning. The children loved all the different levels, nooks and crannies and thoroughly enjoyed the large, safe garden. Location is perfect for beach and walks. My family had a wonderful two week stay at Admiralty House in July 2024. From the moment you step through the grand entrance door you will be impressed at the grandeur of this spacious 3 story apartment. The three bedrooms are beautifully furnished and have very comfortable beds. The ground floor ensuite is particularly grand. This is a lovely house, only about two years old, which is very comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean on arrival and we appreciated the crisps and soft drink left to start us off. The house is well located for Deal and its amenities, but also for Dover Castle, Margate, etc. The garden is rather overlooked, but our grandchildren enjoyed playing football on the lawn.
We had a very comfortable week’s holiday in this property. It is stylishly decorated, comfortable and very well equipped. It is located in a quiet street just a few minutes from the high street & beach and super convenient for the station and supermarkets. The only slight drawbacks are that cooking can be tricky as the cooker is right behind the kitchen door and the back yard would benefit from some (real) plants.
Fabulous location, the cottage is well equipped and provided a good base to come back to after exploring the area.
We had a great break at the Old Smokehouse with the bonus of plenty of spring sunshine. We loved the character of the property and it is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The team at Keepers Cottage were helpful as always, letting us have a late checkout. I had not factored in that the clocks were changing on our departure day and we lost an hour! There are steep stairs in the property and some low door frames, just to be aware.
Great location of this small cottage for a couple. Steps are very steep and winding so not suitable for people with children or babies as they are very dangerous to climb. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was nice. Bedroom ceilings were very low in parts so mind your head!
The accommodation provided a decent holiday base for exploring the locality. It’s very well placed for both the town and the beach and the owners kept in touch to offer support if required. It’s very well equipped and all the facilities functioned efficiently.

Trafalgar Cottage is in need of much tlc which has been notified to Keepers Cottages The location is wonderful and with some improvements Trafalgar Cottage would be be too.
Cozy house with enough space and sleeping places. The location by the sea is very good. Centrally located for excursions to sights in the area. The sanitary system could use some maintenance. Especially flushing the toilet on the 1st floor sometimes caused problems. The kitchen was not very clean: cutlery, plates, pans, ...
Lovely cottage and great location with views of the sea from two bedrooms. Has a private garden at the back which would be beautiful in summer Large kitchen with seating space and dining table is ideal for spending time together as a group and with doors out to the garden Access is down steps and steps in the cottage are steep which may be a consideration for some. We stayed at the Bothy for our summer holiday in July 2024. The house is wonderfully located in the countryside of Kent but only a short distance from local shops and the A2. Canterbury, London and the coast are close by. It took us a little extra effort to find the entrance of the property (Dully House) based on the provided instructions. Curious Cottage is a really cute property located in the historic part of Deal. We loved the location and the accommodation, it was perfect for two adults and a dog. It's fully equipped and we liked the court yard area which was a great corner to relax on a sunny afternoon. Having a parking space was also a bonus as they are hard to come by in this town.
I stayed at the Old Cottage on a week that was a mix of typical British weather. The property is right near the beach and town, so on a sunny day when just heading to the beach or going for a walk the location would be great. However on the days its raining and you want to go explore the area, you may find this is a bit of hassle as the nearest on street parking is over 10 mins walk away or you are willing to pay for a car park and move your car during the day (almost every car park is short stay). We only used the main farmhouse not the barn due to illness of part of the group. However we had full use of the extensive grounds of both properties which were well fenced and enjoyed by our spaniels. The farmhouse was warm and homely, greatly appreciated as there were first gale force winds, then frost followed by heavy rain. The only negative was a lack of any accessible coat hooks in the hallway for the many layers of winter clothing. Shower and bathroom were well appointed. A property to return to.
Our stay at Skippers was really enjoyable. The house has everything you need for a home from home experience. It was well located with everything in walking distance. The courtyard garden is a perfect spot when sunny.
We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth Cottage. It’s in a perfect location: close to the shops, close to the beach, right in the heart of the lovely conservation area. The cottage is very nicely decorated. Two great double rooms. A small but cosy living room and a fantastic kitchen with everything you need. As stated in the description, these are exceptionally steep stairs and our 4 yo struggled a bit. While we were staying there, we noticed some damp patches on ceilings and walls. it is probably one of the most fully equipped holiday homes we have ever rented. You lack nothing and it exceeds expectations. It’s more than the pictures tell. On positive the positive as wel as the negative though. Because one disadvantage must be mentioned. The house is located near a busy road. That road is not visible in any photo and you only find out upon arrival (or on Google after getting the address). I understand that the location of that road is kept out of the pictures but it is a pity that you have different expectations of the location.
We arrived with our guide dog puppy, and our delivery van of online shopping to find no message, no keys, no emergency contacts, owners not there to give us keys and explain parking etc as promised and no key press code. Amazingly after several phone calls to Keepers Cottages office we got hold of someone. They had no idea but said they would try to contact the owners. After 15 minutes they called to tell us where to find a key and apologise that the person meeting us had left early. A fantastic location for accessing a lovely part of Kent. Clean comfortable cottage ideal for 4 guests with a real feeling of privacy and seclusion set in a beautiful garden with rear views to a meadow .
Stayed at the chalet for a couple of nights. Everything we needed was there. Young lady in reception was lovely. Ideally situated for a walk to the beach (and pubs). You can't drive up to the chalet, but ours was a very short walk to the carpark. There are trolleys for transporting luggage if your chalet is further away.
We had a lovely stay at the Victory. Gorgeous house in a perfect location. Great for kids as well as adults. Very sweet and accommodating booking agents.
We rented Honeysuckle Cottage while visiting friends nearby. The cottage itself is lovely, well presented and clean and it had everything we needed for the weekend. The only downside is the lack of parking spaces in the road - we had to park outside our friends' house 10 minutes walk away (although there are car parks nearby). The cottage is near the high street but there was no noise even though there is a pub nearby.
The most quaint beautiful spot surrounded by plants as as you walk off historic middle street down the passage to the cottage - a little haven where I’d watch magpies build nests through the half open stable door of the cottage. Every morning I’d walk the 2 mins to the beach and watch the sunrise (even at that time there were always a few locals already up, swimming in the sea or walking dogs) I was born and raised in Deal until I was 18 but haven’t been back a lot in recent years. This trip and the cottage made me fall back in love with my home town in a brand new way. Really special

The cottage is great, very well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal with Whitstable beach and High St within walking distance. Some people may find the spiral staircase a challenge. A nice spacious garden. We would love to return.
The Crows Nest property in the heart of Deal, offers everything from a dedicated office desk area , comfort lounge to a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Even at night the street is quiet offering a good night's sleep on comfortable bedding.
Unfortunately the property was a bit tired and was not as clean and comfortable as we had hoped. The location was good and was within easy reach of everything we wanted.
