I think we picked the coldest weekend of this winter but The Drift cottage was warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean with lots of added extras, plus the added bonus of a parking space which I was able to get my Mini Countryman on. There’s a nice decking area which unfortunately was much to cold to sit on, a nice touch for the summer though. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and pubs, perfect all round.
This is the perfect base for exploring Folkestone. You can walk to the harbour and high street in no time at all. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my short stay in Folkestone. Keepers Cottages were fantastic to deal with too - I will definitely be using them again.
We have stayed at several properties in Whitstable and this is our favourite. It is perfectly located, close to both the High street and the beach ,with the bonus of a small green opposite and covered parking at the rear. The property itself is very comfortable and well equipped with comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Being a townhouse there is inevitably a fair amount of climbing up and down stairs so this may not suit everyone but the stairs are carpeted and have handrails so feel safe. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved French House. It’s in a great location, and is cosy, warm and really well-equipped. The beds are super comfy.
We had the most idyllic time at Victory at Cliffe. The location is unbelievable - the sunrises and sunsets from the garden are breathtaking, looking out at the sea. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the decor is lovely. It's also the perfect base from which to explore this part of Kent and we took day trips to Hastings, Deal and Canterbury. Victory is a very special place and we very much hope to return again.
This cottage was just perfect. It has been beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. The beds are so comfy too. It is the perfect location for exploring the area. We walked down to the beach and had a fabulous meal at The Zetland Arms on the first night. The second night we cooked in the small but well equipped kitchen and ate in the gorgeous garden. We had the delight of being the first visitors for 2024 so the house was spotless - literally. It made a stay in Dover much more bearable as we were there for work. The owners had put great attention to detail to what a visitor may need for their stay. We rebooked following a quick 5 day trip to Oostende for a few more days rather than the Premier Inn. The walk over the hill behind the house was lovely too when the sun decided to make an appearance. Nice to have that on your doorstep.
A lovely stay at Riley Cottage in Deal. Well equipped, comfortable beds and a great location in Deal close to the sea, high street and brilliant restaurants. Would book again.
This is the second time I have used Keepers Cottages and I can't rate them enough. The Studio was an excellent little find. Great space, great location and was lovely and light. Would def recommend and stay again when next visiting Deal.
We had a great stay at The Loft. The property has been refurbished to a high standard and very tastefully done. Everything you could need is provided and the location is perfect. set one street back from the beach, you are 30 seconds from The Old Neptune pub and the sea! We loved our stay and will certainly consider staying again!

The Admiral Penn is the perfect social house for a large group of friends. It has all the amenities to have a really fun stay in Deal. The house is to an incredibly high standard and in the perfect location. Highlights include the basement cinema room and the bar with ice machine/wine cooler/fridge/cocktail shaker that looks out to sea. Check in process and host contact was very easy and efficient too.
We had a lovely stay in this bijou and well equipped lodge. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of ducks and moorhens and the location was perfect for visiting Deal, Whitstable, Walmer and Dover. Great hosts and a cosy cabin.
We had a great stay at Rosewood. The house is very comfortable, and has everything we needed. Nice little back garden to relax in when the weather is good. Lovely cottage situated perfectly with a short walk to the sea front. Deal is a great town for a long weekend vacation. We enjoyed having brunch at the restaurant at the end of the pier. Runs along the sea front towards the golf course, and drinks at some of the local pubs.
Stunning property in the perfect position to explore Deal. Spacious and elegant. All in all a five star stay.
My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Pier View cottage over Christmas 2024. We stayed for four nights, and especially enjoyed the beautiful view directly over the Deal pier, the luxurious bed, the goodies that Keepers Cottages had left for us in the kitchen. The flat could not be more centrally located, with all of Deal's restaurants and pubs within close walking distance. We highly recommend this location and Keepers Cottages!
Such a gorgeous place to spend a week. Thank you for lending us your beautiful home we particularly loved the well-stocked kitchen, the fabulous views and the personal touches by whoever is the seamstress in the family! Perfect doggy home too with fully fenced front and rear garden and the beach and prom for daily walkies just around the corner.
This was the perfect place for a family holiday. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - especially the beds! We all had a great time.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously at Lavender Apartment. Everything was as stated on the website, and more. The welcome pack was much appreciated, as we're recommendations to local restaurants etc. Walmer Castle was close by, and very enjoyable, as were our trips to Broadstairs and Sandwich. We would certainly stay at Lavender Apartment again should we revisit the area, and use Keepers cottages again, who were very friendly and helpful throughout.
As a family of four this was a delightful place to stay. The open plan living and dining room was very helpful and the large outdoor space provided plenty of room for outdoor play. The facilities were immaculate right through the house and made for a very enjoyable stay (and the little touches in the fridge upon arrival were a lovely surprise). Would highly recommend.
Very familiar with Deal as our grandparents lived near the town many years ago & we still visit regularly. It was therefore lovely to find this cosy house a literal stone’s throw from the beach and a very easy walk into Deal for the shops and restaurants. The house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. It has a secluded courtyard garden which would be a real sun trap later in the year. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to book again later in the year.
It's obvious a lot of love and design flair has been put into this holiday home. Great location, very well and generously equipped (not just the bare minimum). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend.
We can't say enough good things about this house. We stayed over Christmas and it really was perfect. The house itself is very spacious, we were able to sit 11 around the dining room table for xmas dinner, beautifully decorated and has everything you could need for a family stay in terms of cooking facilities etc. The hosts had even decorated for xmas and left a very well stocked cupboard of goodies and a christmas card which was very much appreciated. The barn is awesome, light, airy and spacious. It is fitted to an extremely high standard with luxurious beds and bedding and comfy sofas. We did find a few of the little things missing such as oven gloves and bin bags and also had problems with the Internet. Steps were taken to rectify these issues and I suspect they were a one off.

We had a fabulous New Year with family and friends at Downs Cottage. The house is stunning and its location right next to the beach made our stay really special. We absolutely loved the open plan kitchen / lounge area, a perfect place to host a gathering of family and friends.
We spent Christmas at this gorgeous house and we can’t thank the Keepers team enough! This was one of the most special family occasions we’ve had to date and it’s all thanks to us being able to stay in one of the most beautiful houses in Kent! Stayed over a period of unplanned works at our property. Despite being arranged at very short notice this beautifully appointed cottage was a real haven from the chaos. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable and felt much larger on the inside than it looks. The secure garden (for our little cockerpoo) led right to the short path to the beach. We were staying in January in icy temperatures and it was warm and welcoming. With the direct views straight to sea from the rear rooms, it would be an enchanting place to stay at any time of the year. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed our stay at Beach House in Deal. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for our group. The location was great, easy walk to get coffee or to go out for dinner. Plenty of space with two sitting areas and lots of light. The view was fabulous, I could have sat and looked at it all day!. Everything you could possibly want , even down to cotton buds! Light, airy, clean, spacious Nicely decorated. Plenty of privacy Park the car on the front drive to the house then a 10 step level walk to the lodge and another world. Near to the sea front for a bracing walk, and a visit to Deal Castle for lots of history and views. Hight Street nearby (Saturday market), and 2 superstores a short drive away. Lots of other things to see and do further afield. Will be happy to book again.
Sea Rose Cottage is an excellent little cottage to base yourself in if you want to explore the seaside towns of east Kent or just generally enjoy seaside activities. The house itself is neat, clean and comfortable and has parking. Service is top notch, couldn't ask for more. We've had some great self-catering stays but it's hosts like Nigel that make them all the more memorable. The beach is extremely close, quiet, and you can walk along the Kent Coast Path down to Dover or up to Deal, Sandwich and beyond. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
Wondefull apartment in the great location. View from the lounge and bedroom amazing.. the stairs are quite steep but wort the clime.

The Little Cottage was comfortable, clean, super cute and in a great location to access the seafront and high street with all amenities.
We found The George to be exactly as described. It provided a comfortable and convenient base from which to enjoy our holiday. Tucked in on a street off the Dover Road it was quiet whist also handily placed to drive or walk to/from. We travelled to & from Margate by train and walked the coastal path to Sandwich, returning by bus. There is a charming cafe , "The Corner" nearby that serves excellent breakfasts, brunches & lunches. We had a lovely time in Deal celebrating special family birthdays and hired the cottage for our family of 3. It is a very cosy and comfortable cottage with a fabulous location and is close to the Seafront plus shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep, so just be mindful if anyone has mobility or knee issues. The cottage came with a Welcome folder, which we found very useful, and some lovely welcome cookies and milk. We had a lovely time - thank you.
Rogues cottage was such a lovely stay. The house and all furnishings are lovely - I kept checking various cushions/ blankets etc for where they were from! Comfy beds - lovely well equipped kitchen what more could you want! Spotlessly clean throughout. It was expensive but I felt worth it as such care and thought had gone into all the details and furnishings.
The place was great to stay in, had everything you would need the bedroom was up some steepish stairs I have mobility issues (was warned beforehand) and found it a bit awkward the steps into the property were a bit difficult for me but if you have mobility issues, you'll find this property ideal for location for restaurants etc
This cottage is an absolute gem. The décor and interior have been done to a really high standard. We had the perfect stay and it was a joy to be in the cottage.
A lovely property which worked really well for our mixed group of three generations of our family plus a very small dog. All prior requests were met and available on arrival eg travel cot and high chair and we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the property was. The location is excellent as the house is very close to Deal High Street and all its amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Deal.
A gorgeous homely cottage. Excellent location for the High Street full of independent cafes and shops and easy access to the seafront. The cottage is extremely well equipped with lovely touches such as battery candles in lovely glasses, interesting books and magazines. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. The lounge is very comfortable as are the bedrooms with very comfortable beds. A warm, cosy delightful cottage.
This is a great property with overall one of the highest standards of facilities, comfort and cleanliness we have stayed in. However, part of staying in a self-catering property is the ability to cook for oneself. The condition of the oven was such that eye stinging fumes were released when used. We were only there two nights but this would be a major problem over a longer stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Cottage. The kitchen was so well equipped - quite rare in a rental, i.e. sharp knives and every appliance you could possibly want! The cottage was extremely comfortable. I was staying there with my daughter so we had plenty of space. The ground floor sitting room was perfect for us, maybe quite small if 4 adults staying. However the kitchen area and dining space in the basement were very spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our three generational family had a wonderful week in this spacious house. The fixtures and fittings were exceptional and very high spec. The children enjoyed the playroom and had great fun in the huge garden. It was a good base to explore the north, south and east coast. Wingham wildlife park and the Romney Hythe Dymchurch Railway were great favourites, as was fish and chips on the seafront in Deal.
Good location close to the sea, great cafe and fish and chip shop. Downside was the noise from the busy road at the front. Off street parking a great bonus. A clever conversion providing plenty of space, although the bathroom and toilet directly off the kitchen/living area was rather odd. Modern decor and furnished with plenty of good quality tableware. Comfy beds. Two major let downs were a broken shower head fixing rendering it unusable and broken dishwasher door which because of its extreme weight made it a real hazard. Should have been picked up and fixed before arrival.
A really comfortable and interesting house in the old part of Deal. Of the two living-rooms, that in the basement was especially lovely and cool, whilst the roof terrace was a great place to while away a sunny evening. The property has excellent facilities, including a bathroom, ensuite shower and three toilets. The stairs are quite steep, and you have to pay due regard to the clear messages to "mind your head" when gaining access to the roof. The cottage is excellent. It’s positioned a short drive from 3 fantastic golf courses so is perfect for a golf weekend. 4 large bedrooms meant we all had our own rooms. A small welcome pack of biscuits, milk and a few other bits was a welcome surprise. It’s a short walk to the town of Sandwich in the evening. Clean, warm and spacious the cottage is definitely somewhere I would recommend.
Ravenscourt was BEAUTIFUL. My school friends and I (6x tired mums) visited for the weekend and absolutely adored the house - the interiors are incredible & the location is perfect convenient (you're two mins from the beach one way & the town the other). The living space has lots of different areas and zones, so we all had plenty of space to relax and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Thank you for having us!
What a fabulous place - loads of space, tastefully furnished and decorated The swimming pool was an absolute winner with the children (some of the adults too) Everyone had a great time - would definitely recommend Bowden Lodge - can’t fault it in any way A brilliant time was had by all!
Overall my stay was good. However, I did find the bathrooms small and little space to put anything. Without the log burner, the temperature in the living room was not high enough for me, even with the thermostat temperature increased. I spend a lot of time reading and writing and there is no view from the downstairs windows and it is practically impossible to see the sky.
A well appointed and comfortable holiday home, conveniently placed for Sandwich and its surrounding countryside and seaside resorts. Well worth a stay!! The perfect place for a family get-together.

A charming period house set in a small square approx 100m from the sea. Set just off Middle street in the older part of Deal. Well appointed and equipped for a peaceful stay. Lots of restaurants nearby.
We came to The Hide for a relaxing break before Christmas.When we visited in September it was all sunshine this time it was wet and windy. However it was nice after a day out to return to the comfort and warmth of The Hide. Also. using the hot tub in the rain easy quite an experience.
We love staying at Lighthouse cottage, all the rooms are comfortable and especially love the sunroom for reading and the lovely back garden for hanging out in a quiet space. The house has everything we need for a comfortable relaxed stay for a week. The beach is pretty much on the doorstep and it's so lovely to be immersed right in the middle of the historic old town. So enjoyed our time here and it's probably the 5th time we have stayed at this cottage so we do very much enjoy it here and would recommend the house and Deal.
three adults stayed at the cottage to attend a memorial service. the cottage made the sad occassion bearable. Spotlessly clean. The only drawback was that the seating in the lounge was not that comfortable.
House was cosy, warm and full of light. An ideal place to stay in Whitstable as it’s very close to the seafront and the town. Plenty of room to be separate as well as together. We had a wonderful Christmas week there.

After initial access issues, we were given the wrong key code, the flat proved to be almost idea. Excellent kitchen, a microwave would be nice though, and very comfortable throughout. Parking might be a problem in high season though.
The farmhouse, its facilities, the grounds and tennis court were all very good and as expected from the details provided when booking. The village itself was somewhat less the picturesque Kent than expected, and the nearby beaches rather rocky. Walmer castle is well worth a visit. All in all a great place to stay at home but not so great to explore.
We had a lovely stay and we were delighted to find a Christmas tree set up for us on arrival. House was warm, comfortable and had plenty of space for 7 of us in 4 bedrooms and the kitchen is very well equipped. Its only a 15 minute walk from the lovely Joss Bay, a 5 minute drive to the station and under 10 minutes drive to a large shopping village. It was too cold to use the garden but this looked like it would be fabulous for a summer stay and we will most likely come again to visit more of the beautiful beaches on this coast. This is a good sized house with three bedrooms. It is stylishly decorated and comfortable and well equipped (though we couldn't find any baking tray). It is very handy for the centre of Deal. But it is quite a busy road and we were lucky to be able to park in the street, though there is also parking in nearby streets. We had a very enjoyable time here and felt we got very good value for money.
Steadfast fulfilled all our needs for a great holiday home from home. It is located close to the high street where we found lovely little delis and places for a coffee. A short walk from the sea front and the quaint streets. We really enjoyed our stay

We had a week's holiday in this cottage and everything was first class. The cottage was very clean and we were provided with everything we needed. A very quiet location set in Deal's attractive conservation area yet very close to the promenade and within easy reach of the town centre with a level 10 minute walk either along the prom or through the quaint narrow streets. We decided to book a few days away last minute and could not have been more pleased with Flint House and Amy was so helpful managing our booking- so a very big thank you to Keepers Cottages. The house is perfect - such attention to detail and everything you need. Moments away from the beach with the Zetland Arms looking over the water. A lovely walk along the beach path to Deal is a perfect weekend jaunt - rewarded by fish and chips - and a game of cluedo by the log fire on our return - what’s not to love ! Wish we could have stayed longer !
Beautiful apartment in a gorgeous location. Had a quiet peaceful week enjoyed the walk back into Sandwich and Deal. Disappointed that the bedroom with the most amazing sea view was not a king sized bed just two singles pushed together.

We had a great week. The weather was good. Location spectacular and decor inside and out stylish. Kitchen equipped generously and thoughtfully. Interesting part of the country....plenty to do. The "4"s are for the smallish double beds.
Welcoming basket would have been grateful ! No Barbecue tools. Sparse kitchen utensils. Otherwise ok.
Myself, my wife and our dog had a lovely 5 night stay The Old Barn recently. The cottage was very neat and tidy, nicely decorated and comfortable. Location was great for us - quiet, with parking and an enclosed garden for the dog, but within an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of Sandwich. It's also very easy to walk out to the coast from the cottage and Deal is certainly within walking range (we did get the train back though!).
We are very pleased to have stayed in Sea View. It proved to be an excellent base for visiting Folkestone in the low season. Everything worked and was quite easy to understand. Heating easy to control once one had fathomed out that each room has independent controls. At our age low beds can be a challenge but otherwise, comfortable for us. Good restaurants very close by. Two minor points, the views are superb, even those outside of the bedroom windows looking out over Autumn trees and well maintained elegant houses, but it would have been helpful if we could have been forewarned that there ...more
Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Tally Ho, the central location is perfect for an easy walk to the seafront and the many lovely shops, eateries and watering holes in Deal. The building wears its 312 years very well, with the right modern touches for ease and comfort (kitchen and bathrooms especially).
We enjoy your stay at Cow and Cockle very much, we found it very cozy and in a great location. However, there were two things we were disappointed with. 1, The heating policy. The central heating was set to come on at 7am and off at 9am and 3.30 pm until 9.30. We felt the heating should have been on longer, especially in the winter months. If you are on holiday you don't always want to be out of the house by 9am. Likewise in the evening, getting back to the cottage after 9.30pm the heating was off. We stayed while we were waiting to move into our new house nearby. It is a lovely cottage- a bit challenging (stairs) for people with mobility issues. Very well situated for shops, pubs, restaurants and the sea. The beds - mattress and pillows- were a bit soft for our taste. An issue with the heating was quickly & efficiently sorted out.
The Flat in Deal is a lovely property in the heart of Deal. The flat is well kept and the beds are super comfy. There is a small outside space so you can bring a dog. Whilst we liked our flat, there was alot of noise both nights from the pub next door. It had loud music until well into the early hours. That was a pity for us as we were there for a relaxing getaway.
We loved our three night stay in this charming character cottage. The house was well equipped with everything you could ask for and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. The cottage is ideally placed with the high street and beach just a couple of minutes walk from the property. It’s ideally placed for all the local pubs, bars, restaurants etc. Parking is the only issue as it’s all permit parking but you do get one hour to unload. We managed to park for free a couple of streets away but there are car parks not far away. We would definitely return and recommend this property.
We had a very enjoyable holiday at The Heights and found it a well set up house. My one small criticism is the convenience of watching the TV. There is not enough space in front of the TV with one person looking at it from the left side.
We had a wonderful Christmas week at Glen Hill. We felt that it was a home, not a holiday rental. It’s been lived in and feels like a a real family home which we loved. Consequently it’s not “hi spec” in terms of bathrooms and decor but that did not bother us at all. We were 16 in all, 8 adults and 8 children agreed 5-13. Abundance of space for everyone. The kids loved the rambling nature of the house, great for hide and seek! Adults loved the huge and well equipped kitchen and the open fire lounge and huge dining room. We absolutely loved the cottage and our stay in Deal! The location is superb with everything nearby but remains very quiet and peaceful. We loved going out in the morning to see the sunrise - it’s minute away so you can walk even in your pyjamas The place itself is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay at Victory Cottage. A few items: 1. Closer attention to cleaning should encouraged. 2. The main shower did not work properly when we arrived the hot water control did not work hence cold water. We suspect this was a known already and an existing matter. It took two days with two telephone calls and an email to rectify.
During our stay we enjoyed being able to watch films in the snug or sit by the fire in the living room playing games and reading. Our dog enjoyed the long walks along the beach ending in a local pub or on the pier in Deal. On Christmas day we were able to cook using the great facilities and sit at the dining table enjoying the view of garden.
We were absolutely wowed by the Moat Farm House! The photographs absolutely don't do it justice – it's a huge house with incredible decoration and objects adorning the walls and surfaces. It's also been refurbished to a high standard so it's incredibly warm, with beautiful bathrooms and outstanding kitchen facilities. We were a group of 4 families and had plenty of space. The adjoining cottage was a godsend for a couple with a young baby, and the rest of us had lots of room in the large bedrooms. Plenty of space in this freshly decorated flat. We loved the views over the sea. It was an easy walk to Deal with its excellent restaurants. Busy road in front but no traffic at night. We had a very enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house which was in a great location so close to the beach. The off road parking was a huge bonus and from our experience, quite rare in that area. The house was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The courtyard garden was ideal for our small dogs.
The house is practically thoughtfully and generously provided to all guests. The beds are particularly comfortable and the downstairs shower is lovely! There is very very ample living space plus the garden and of course the amazing access to the beach just a moment away. The kitchen is as yours would be at home if you are something of a cook, you will enjoy it. everything works and everything is of a high standard, it feels a bit like going home because you can be comfortable within a few minutes. A wonderful place to stay for peace and quiet, and just switching off for a few days with family. Stand in front of the cottage, facing the fields ahead of you, and just listen to the soothing silence, a real change from our city life. Well-positioned for access to plenty of nice beaches, best of which was Ramsgate, less than 30 mins drive.
Malvern House is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped family home which served as a good base for our visit as a family of 7 adults. I grew up in Deal so know it well and it was good to go back to see what has changed and what has stayed the same. Seascape, is a lovely, extremely clean and functional property in a fabulous location in Whitstable. We stay in Whitstable several times a year visiting friends and we would definitely return to this house.
I stayed at West Cliff for a weekend in January with seven friends and it was perfect. The house is stunning, decorated to a high spec, spacious and comfortable. We spent lots of time in the kitchen diner, a wonderful entertaining space and enjoyed cocktails in the front living room in the evenings. The bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. We had a long weekend in Whitstable Friday to Monday. The flat is very well situated for the town and beach. It was very clean and comfortable and would stay again if we visited Whitstable again.
The house is stylishly decorated, but we prefer a house that has fewer accessories, to create more peace and space for our own stuff. Also, it feels dusty due to the accessories and amount of textiles (a lot of plaids, cushions, etc). The Keepers Cottages team is great though. In our first stay we had problems with the boiler system and the Keepers Cottages team provided a nice alternative with Noggin. The location is great, right on the beautiful Deal coast, close to the pier and all the restaurants. We had a great time at the Southeastern coast!
Returned to Blackhorse Loft and had a beautiful time, again. Well equipped with everything we wished for. Great location and super cozy. Loved it!
We have stayed at Reed loft once before in 2022 and booked straight away to come back in 2024 and it did not disappoint!! It was even better. We just love the location, the layout of the property beautifully done, great space for a family Christmas and they even provided a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The added bonus of a heated indoor pool and new sauna, gives it the wow factor. There were a couple of minor things such as a toilet seat that needed tightening but nothing that affected our stay. It suited us well - clean, quiet and comfortable. Would have benefitted from a shaver point in the bathroom but this is just a small thing. It was all as described.
Oldstairs House, is a grand old lady. A bit creaky here and there, and worn in places, although clean and tastefully dressed. Kitchen well equipped and dining hall sat 10 comfortably. Beds were comfy and rooms were so dark and quiet at night, therefore good night’s sleep. Be aware that there is only one shower in the en-suite, no problem, but had to queue in the morning. The children loved all the different levels, nooks and crannies and thoroughly enjoyed the large, safe garden. Location is perfect for beach and walks. My family had a wonderful two week stay at Admiralty House in July 2024. From the moment you step through the grand entrance door you will be impressed at the grandeur of this spacious 3 story apartment. The three bedrooms are beautifully furnished and have very comfortable beds. The ground floor ensuite is particularly grand. This is a lovely house, only about two years old, which is very comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean on arrival and we appreciated the crisps and soft drink left to start us off. The house is well located for Deal and its amenities, but also for Dover Castle, Margate, etc. The garden is rather overlooked, but our grandchildren enjoyed playing football on the lawn.
We had a very comfortable week’s holiday in this property. It is stylishly decorated, comfortable and very well equipped. It is located in a quiet street just a few minutes from the high street & beach and super convenient for the station and supermarkets. The only slight drawbacks are that cooking can be tricky as the cooker is right behind the kitchen door and the back yard would benefit from some (real) plants.

Great location of this small cottage for a couple. Steps are very steep and winding so not suitable for people with children or babies as they are very dangerous to climb. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was nice. Bedroom ceilings were very low in parts so mind your head!
We loved staying at the Old Smoke House in Deal. It's a fantastic historic house in a fantastic historic area of Deal. Other-worldly, quirky and cosy, yet with all the modern comforts you need like central heating, dishwasher and washing machine. A quiet location but only a stone's throw from the sea and the high street, Middle Street transports you right back to a different time in history entirely. Fantastic. The accommodation provided a decent holiday base for exploring the locality. It’s very well placed for both the town and the beach and the owners kept in touch to offer support if required. It’s very well equipped and all the facilities functioned efficiently.

We stayed at the Bothy for our summer holiday in July 2024. The house is wonderfully located in the countryside of Kent but only a short distance from local shops and the A2. Canterbury, London and the coast are close by. It took us a little extra effort to find the entrance of the property (Dully House) based on the provided instructions. Lovely cottage and great location with views of the sea from two bedrooms. Has a private garden at the back which would be beautiful in summer Large kitchen with seating space and dining table is ideal for spending time together as a group and with doors out to the garden Access is down steps and steps in the cottage are steep which may be a consideration for some. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Curious Cottage is a really cute property located in the historic part of Deal. We loved the location and the accommodation, it was perfect for two adults and a dog. It's fully equipped and we liked the court yard area which was a great corner to relax on a sunny afternoon. Having a parking space was also a bonus as they are hard to come by in this town.
I stayed at the Old Cottage on a week that was a mix of typical British weather. The property is right near the beach and town, so on a sunny day when just heading to the beach or going for a walk the location would be great. However on the days its raining and you want to go explore the area, you may find this is a bit of hassle as the nearest on street parking is over 10 mins walk away or you are willing to pay for a car park and move your car during the day (almost every car park is short stay). Great location, comfortable beds, roaring fire in the stove. Perfect for a little getaway. The town is charming and there’s a great pub up the beach. Service from the historic was very flexible and responsive.
We only used the main farmhouse not the barn due to illness of part of the group. However we had full use of the extensive grounds of both properties which were well fenced and enjoyed by our spaniels. The farmhouse was warm and homely, greatly appreciated as there were first gale force winds, then frost followed by heavy rain. The only negative was a lack of any accessible coat hooks in the hallway for the many layers of winter clothing. Shower and bathroom were well appointed. A property to return to.
After a few initial wobbles with the plumbing it was a very enjoyable location., The service from Keepers Cottages was very diligent and we had an enjoyable holiday.
We arrived with our guide dog puppy, and our delivery van of online shopping to find no message, no keys, no emergency contacts, owners not there to give us keys and explain parking etc as promised and no key press code. Amazingly after several phone calls to Keepers Cottages office we got hold of someone. They had no idea but said they would try to contact the owners. After 15 minutes they called to tell us where to find a key and apologise that the person meeting us had left early. We had a lovely stay at the Victory. Gorgeous house in a perfect location. Great for kids as well as adults. Very sweet and accommodating booking agents.
We rented Honeysuckle Cottage while visiting friends nearby. The cottage itself is lovely, well presented and clean and it had everything we needed for the weekend. The only downside is the lack of parking spaces in the road - we had to park outside our friends' house 10 minutes walk away (although there are car parks nearby). The cottage is near the high street but there was no noise even though there is a pub nearby.
We had a great stay in chalet no 5. The holiday park was clean with a beautiful view at sea and fun facilities like mini golf, tennis and a swimming pool. In the area are a lot of things to do and multiple nice cities to visit. Also 3 castles nearby! We loved it, and would recommend it to everyone.
The cottage is great, very well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal with Whitstable beach and High St within walking distance. Some people may find the spiral staircase a challenge. A nice spacious garden. We would love to return.
A small quirky cottage in the heart of Deal. Comfortable and clean - though behind the sofa it was very dirty and loose wires from an unused telephone socket. Basic and small bathroom. Small but well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack- thank you. Unfortunately I broke my ankle when we arrived falling down the steps outside the bathroom - I note in the visitors book someone else had fallen - they need marking up please. Unfortunately the property was a bit tired and was not as clean and comfortable as we had hoped. The location was good and was within easy reach of everything we wanted.
Good location, close to the beach and train station. Milk and few snacks on arrival was a nice touch. Road is quite busy/noisy however and the walls are super thin, with neighbours partying impacting our sleep. Shower is super low ceilinged so struggled little, and Im only 5ft 8. Expensive charge for dogs also with no dog bowls provided
