We're a couple with two young children. I had great memories of Anglesey from childhood so I was eager to share them. The drive from Oxfordshire was simple and the scenery as we crossed into Wales got us excited. We'd been given excellent directions, so arriving in Rhosneigr we easily found the property and checking-in with Wendy showing us around was a great welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated (all new) and kept very clean, we had lots of room for us four and in fact could have comfortably hosted more. Really appreciated having a proper bath in a holiday rental! There was inform...more
We had a fantastic stay at Ty Cerrig for New Years. We were a group of 3 families (6 adults and 5 children). We loved the location and how close we were to the lovely beaches. Great property, met all our needs. We will definitely be returning!
Being on the sand dunes we lost the kids for the weekend to pirates and adventures. The sunsets were fantastic...especially with the local gin. What a great place for really happy holidays, lovely and clean and more than everything we needed...it was almost better than home! Thanks x
I can certainly recommend the this property Lovely and clean and ideal location Will book again soon
Another great stay at white gables, beaches ,restaurants, pubs and shops all within a 5min walk and if you want advice on where to go or need something for the apartment you only have to ask. Already booked for next year, excellent.
The property was spacious and comfortable. We were 3 long term friends and we had a room each and a bathroom each which was a luxury. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished and decorated in muted colours which was so relaxing. We used the outer courtyard area a great deal as we were blessed with perfect weather for our whole week there. The bedrooms had plenty of storage space making them feel like “ home from home”! The Rhosneigr letting team were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The maintenance young man was so prompt to deal with only the one or ...more
Had a fabulous stay at this lovely property. In a perfect location within a few minutes walking distance of the beaches, shops and pubs/ restaurants...everything is on your doorstep. You could quite easily manage without a car at this property if you had a shopping delivery at the start of your stay. Well equipped and the beds are also very comfortable. We have always previously stayed in Treardurr And Rhoscolyn but i think Rhosneigr is my new favourite place in Anglesey! Would definitely stay at Chelford again.
We stayed in the Redhouse last week and this was our second visit to this wonderful place. The standard of the property and its fixtures and fittings are outstanding matched only by the wonderful panoramic views of the sea and the beach. We met the owners this time, John and Alison who are very welcoming and great company. We hope to book again next year!!!
Beach House is a beautiful property with fantastic views to the beach and sea . Very well equipped and perfect for our family . We would love to return again .
This property provides easy access to the beach as well as into Rhosneigr - on foot. A number 0f good restaurants in walking distance too. Lovely place to stay.
An amazing house, top quality finishes, great location, 15 minutes walk to beach and pubs / restaurants. Views over fields from feature lounge window stunning The grandchildren (and the dog) particularly loved watching the cows and the sheep in the field. Ideal venue for our extended family holiday celebrating our sons 30th birthday.
Stayed in Anglesey House to celebrate two 21st birthdays in the family.. 6 families stayed, we had everything we could ask for. Enough of everything for us to cook for such s large amount. Everything in the house is of a high standard, and they have thought of everything you would need for your stay. Close to the beach, which is spectacular and the local shop is hand for things you might have forgotten. Will definitely return and would highly recommend it for a large group of people.
Accommodation was excellent. Very clean, perfectly positioned for the beach. Lovely bathrooms and rooms
Four of us stayed here for a wedding. Everyone said they would stay here again; it is a great house to stay with family and friends!
Loved my recent stay at Ty Mabon . Very quiet, and tranquil . Fantastic countryside, and beaches, within close vicinity. Only negative points were the shower control was hard to turn on and off . And I found it smelled of wet dog in the bathroom. Apart from that A1 .
We have previously stayed at the house and find it a perfect location, near to the beach and village.
Great little development. Excellent for a couple. Cosy and warm but with lots of windows for light and air. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen. Walk to the beach and sunsets are heavenly No corkscrew!!! Had to buy one and left it behind. A review of the kitchen equipment ( chopping board, jug, bowls and a smaller frying pan ) perhaps due. Will be returning later in the year.
What a fantastic property!!!! Clean, tidy, spacious in a great location with the beach or an exploration through the sand dunes less than a 5 minute walk away each. Not forgetting the local shops and restaurants, there’s no need for your car to get about in Rhosneigr. This property is so well catered for anyone that stays there whether it be a group of adults or a family. There’s nothing you could want for. As a family with 2 young children we packed the car with everything we thought we’d need, books, toys, games, stuff to clean up with (sprays/kitchen roll/toilet rolls etc) tea, coffe...more
Enjoyed a lovely week in a lovely house. Felt the garden needed some love and attention and some new sun lounger !! The owner has very welcoming and helpful and in getting it sorted Definately recommend Coed y Llyn (and The Oyster Catcher Restaurant which is only 10mins walk away )
This was our third visit to Owains Lake, this time for a full week and did not want to come home.Hosts Lisa and Brett just a phone call away if anything is needed,(never had to do that).Welcome pack much appreciated on arrival. Explored all over island and had meals out at Oyster Catcher and the Surf Bar,both dog friendly and elcoming.Took my dog Alvin all over the island and many beaches. Cannot praise this hideaway highly enough, always enjoy our time there and will be returning as soon as we can. Chris and Alvin from Wirral
Gorwelion Glas is a very well equipped and spacious house (a lot bigger inside than it appears from the outside!). Everything was perfect and the enclosed patio area was a great place to relax with plenty of chairs and gets the sun all day! We were very lucky with the weather and made full use of this space. This is the fourth house we have booked through Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings and they have all been to the same high standards - the bedding is all hotel quality as are the thick white fluffy towels. I can highly recommend booking through them. Jamie and his team do a great job and with ...more
We have just spent a weekend staying at the View. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay - comfortable, modern, clean, central and handy for the beach! The Lettings team were very helpful and recommended some dog friendly restaurants for us in the village. The stay was made even better by lovely weather - Anglesey must have it's own micro-climate! Will definitely return!
We really enjoyed our stay at Tides Reach and were blessed with some lovely weather. The apartment was in a great location minutes from the beach. It was much more spacious than we had anticipated. It had everything we needed and more. We loved how we could see in many directions from the living room window - mountains, sea and sunsets.
Just back from a lovely week at The Escape. We'd been before and knew it was a nice, well equipped holiday home. It's in a great location, 2 minutes walk to the centre and 5-10 minutes walk to either beach. Perfect!
We have stayed in a number of properties in Rhosneigr and this one was just beautiful stunning views , comfortable , clean , easy to book with extremely helpful staff
Our party consisted of 5 adults, the property was big enough to accommodate us all. The location was central and only a short walk to the local shops and the beaches Ideally located if you have an interest in aircraft with the property being within distance of RAF Valley. Well equipped. The staff from Rhosneigr Holiday Lets were on hand and couldn’t have enough to make our stay a memorable one. Would definitely recommend both the property and the company
excellent holiday home with plenty of room for everyone parking very good, with a short walk to the sea, house has everything you would need, and the dogs had brilliant time too , will be returning soon
Stayed at Ty Arthur for a weeks holiday and on arrival were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage and it had a very homely feel. A spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. Excellent shower. Good facilities are provided although the Wi-fi connection was a little disappointing. However this was not a factor to spoil our stay as Ty Arthur is conveniently situated to explore the beautiful beaches on Anglesey and places of interest. This was our first visit to Anglesey and we hope to revisit. We highly recommend Ty Arthur.
Lovely spacious accommodation, in beautiful location. Well presented throughout. Close to several beaches. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
Cwalafila is a lovely house. It is comfortable, well equipped & ideally placed for local restaurants, shops and the beach. Special thanks to Jamie and the team who were very prompt in helping us in a difficult situation. Although the weather was poor (we were there for storm Hannah!) we all enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
As per usual we all had a nice time in Rhosneigr, our woofa loved to lie on the front deck barking at the four legged passers by. Good timd had by all. Thanks again to Jamie & your team. Kind regards K & Co.
We love this house, our 3rd stay, its location is perfect, beautiful views. The house is well equipped with everything needs for a large family.
Exceeded my expectations which takes a lot of doing. The weather was fantastic, the kite and wind surfers add entertainment, the local restaurants and cafes are excellent.Testing friendly golf course 2 mins away. You don’t need to leave Rhosneigr it’s all there.
The cottage has lots of character, with low ceilings and doors, traditional fireplace and thick walls. Although characterful, it has all the amenities that you could wish for, along with comfortable beds, clean bedding and pillows. Everything you need to cater for 6 or more people with many kitchen accessories. We will definitely stay again.
We booked Cerrig Bach for a family wedding and it was perfect. Just a couple of minutes away from the beach but yet tucked away in a quiet area of the village. The cottage was very comfortable and felt like a home from home. We only stayed for a couple of nights but could have easily stayed for a week or more. We didn’t need any help while we were there, as the information folder provided was filled with everything we needed to know (where to go, what to do, restaurants etc.). Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute little cottage, a short walk to the beach and coastal path, cafe across the road and great pub round the corner. We had a minor problem during our stay which was promptly dealt with by the friendly management team and when I foolishly left something behind they were kind enough to post it on. The only reason I’ve marked it down is because the bathroom is in need of some TLC but it certainly wouldn’t stop me from going back. This whole development is a great place to stay, it’s lovely and quiet, away from the noise of the race track and the jets but...more
This is our 4th visit to Victoria court fabulous location so convenient for everything we have stayed sandy toes the lookout and now bay view it is better for us to stay on ground floor as the lawned area can be a lovely place to sit we found the tv a bit hit and miss but any time we rung somebody came to sort it the bedrooms need blackout blinds certainly for summer months on the final day the night before we could not lock the outer door did ring and left a message at the office to inform them about it sandys coach house new venue this year fabulous and you can take dogs into the bar area we...more
Cottage in a beautiful location.Returned for a second time, and will be coming back again. However,Non slip bath mat in poor condition and badly needs replacing was black and mouldy.
Good accommodation very comfortable. Lovely area and people very helpful and friendly, would recommend.
A lovely pleasant bungalow , plenty of room and b eautiful location. Very well stocked with kitchen equipment , quiet and near the shops.
We stayed at this place in rhosneiger and the inside was done up nicely. We would have liked there to have been a proper sized toilet paper role. The biggest problem we had was with aircraft noise. There is a runway for fighter jets real close which made almighty noise which terrified my dog. We stayed out of the house all day as a result. Please warn people that dogs could be scared with the jets taking off and flying noisily around all day. Some dogs may not mind, but ours did. Liked the art on the walls very much.
We stayed at the lookout with our two boys for a long weekend, we found the location fantastic being close the the beach and shops in Rhosneigr. The apartment is nicely furnished with everything you need, it has a fantastic view of the beach. We would definitely book again.
Ancones provided a perfect home from home on our holiday. An exceptional stay, loved from start to finish. Thank you
Had a lovely week in this bungalow. Location was brilliant for walking dog on beach and local restaurants. House well appointed for the two of us. Cooking utensils may be a bit sparse if used for a group of six. Garden great for our dog. Just a little disappointed with seating area in garden brown weeds poking through patio and no comfy seats as should in pictures. Bed very comfortable and bathrooms excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this bungalow.
We have been coming to Rhosneigr for many years and this is the nicest house we have stayed in. It felt like care had been taken to make the house feel welcoming. Everything you could need - even bikes and wetsuits to borrow! Have booked it again for next year.
The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and was in a convenient location near the coastal path and for visiting other areas of Anglesey and also Snowdonia National Park. We hope to return for another holiday soon.
The property was fine for our 5 days break, excellent location just needs a bit of paint here and there. There were 2 bad points regarding cleanness. The trays to heat food in the electric oven were very dirty & rusty, would not use them even with tinfoil on the base and the other issue was so gross it makes me heave to think about it, our little dog went exploring in the bathroom and knocked the toilet brush & container over, the result was a discussing find, it must have been there since the property was built and never cleaned .
Norman Court is situated a stone's throw away from the beach which is fantastic. The property itself is well equipped and generally very comfortable. The owners have clearly spent time and effort on the property as it is very nicely decorated and welcoming. Our only disappointment was the strong smell of cigarettes in particular in the lounge. This, coupled with a very dirty floor, also, in the lounge meant that we actively tried to stay out of the property until late so we would just go to bed and not spend time downstairs as the smell was quite overwhelming. Perhaps our comments stem from ha...more
Nice bungalow, fantastic location , well laid out, basic tv needs modernising As do windows, conservatory door is awkward but manageable,. Views from Garden suoerb
The location of the apartement could not have been better. A very comfortable stay and the view of the sea from the lounge was as it is stated in the description. Will be booking this place again.
A very cosy stay everything you need and you can see the sea from the front garden and close to shops and restaurants. I would recommend this dog friendly home.
