We have stayed in many places in Keswick and surrounding areas but Catbells definitely tops them all! A fabulous apartment with a beautifully thought out interior and views from every window. We loved it! Super comfy and warm, with everything you need, plus allocated parking. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Keswick Cottages.

Excellent apartment in a great location and with the added bonus of parking. Didn't need the car as we walked locally or used the bus. We had everything we needed (except a missing bread knife from the set?) and the bed was really comfortable. A lovely quiet break - except for the rather wet and windy weather.
45 eskin street was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay from the huge rooms and bathrooms , very comfortable beds and a lovely log fire. Would definitely book this house again.
4 nights at this lovely cottage. Immaculate and homely with a sense of luxury. Kitted out with everything you need, tasteful decor in a great location within a 10 minute walk into Keswick. Fantastic base to visit all the lakes hotspots. 30 mins drive to Windermere. Loved it!!
I really don’t want to write a review because then everyone else will know about this place , Fantastic , immaculate , really well equipped house , I was a bit worried not having a garden with 3 dogs but the park being 30 seconds walk away made up for that. Parking was free and a minutes walk away as was the town centre. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher , I let Keswick cottages know , more for the next guest and they had someone there within the hour to fix it . Can’t recommend the Eyrie or Keswick cottages enough , We will be back
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage and would highly recommend it to families or 2 couples. Well stocked, clean and comfortable with well thought out furnishings. Good kitchen for cooking and the extension at the back was great for walking gear and loved the underfloor heating! Very helpful and friendly staff too.
We have stayed at this property several times now and never failed to be impressed. The owners are constantly improving the furniture and outside of the house to very high standards. The property is so lovely and warm day and night. The location could not be bettered.Off street parking with driveway and gates, perfect!! Mustn’t forget the table tennis in the garage which is fabulous. Just a 10 minute walk and you are in the centre of Keswick which is such a lovely town with lots of great shops and restaurants! We definitely will be back.
Booked with Keswick Cottages via telephone two weeks prior to a four night visit. Both Caysie and Sarah were most helpful and informative making my booking easy. Farmers Retreat is ideally located in Keswick and just a pleasant short walk through Fitz park to the town. The property is comfortable, well equipped and maintained with everything you need. Parking being a bonus. Most enjoyable stay and would revisit again.
This was our 3rd stay at Mountain View. It's such a lovely apartment and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We will be back again and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
Deer Close Cottage is a quiet and peaceful hideaway which has a nice steady off road walk into Keswick. It has many walks from the doorstep and plenty of birds and wildlife to spot.
This was our 3rd stay and have already booked for next year, that says it all. It’s warm and comfortable and in a great location . It’s very quiet yet within easy walking distance to the town centre.
Had a lovely week staying at Fell View. The cottage is so lovely really well decorated and very clean and comfy. An added bonus was the welcome doggie pack - our dog loved it !!! The pub next door was nice to have, we had a couple of meals there., and it’s only a short walk into Keswick ( about 25mins ). We would definitely stay here again
Although the weather was awful, we were pleased to have such a cosy cottage to come back to. It had all the amenities we could possibly need, and the cleanliness was second to none. The location was great. Quiet, with lovely mountain views, but close enough to walk into Keswick. Definitely hope to come back.

Been staying at Bridge House with a group of friends for many years as part of our annual excursion. Why do we go back to the same place you might ask? Because we have confidence Bridge House always delivers. A great location with a 2-minute walk into Keswick which has so much to offer, and by far the best town in the Lake District. Generous and allocated parking spaces for each property. 5 star spacious excellent accommodation and with a regular refurbishment programme. Finally great customer service from the staff at Keswick Cottages.
We have stayed in many places in Keswick and this wonderful flat is certainly up there with the best. The location for an out of season visit is superb. Very close to all of the local amenities with beautiful views towards the fells from the upstairs rooms. The flat was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and always warm. An idea location with options for many walks straight from the door or only a few minutes drive away. Just had three day break at Three Peaks, 4 ladies and 3 dogs. The bungalow is beautiful and was spotlessly clean. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but never stopped us getting out and about. Peaceful location but 5 mins walk into the village. Beautiful walks from the doorstep. We will be return
This is a great place to stay if you want good access to central Keswick , shops, restaurants and pubs . The property is spotless and has everything you need in a self catering property. It was lovely and warm and the bed, large and comfy . The parking was close by and although it was a tight fit with our large car we managed it. We did rely on the considerate parking of others to ensure we could get our car in and out without having to manoeuvre too much , and on one occasion couldn’t get it out until we located the driver of a vehicle opposite ( Although this coukd happen anywhere ). Homely accomodation. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Good shower, comfy beds and kitchen has everything needed. Town, Booths and bus station a few minutes walk. We had a problem that was quickly rectified even on a Sunday. Woud like to stay again. Keswick Cottages kindly provides starter pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Only thing didn't like is the check in time of 4pm. There is an option to pay extra for a 2pm check in. (Think it was £50 for two guests, we declined option) Always been a standard 3pm check in with the many other companies we've booked with for Keswick.
We had a great stay at Skiddaw Skies. Very handy central location. Fabulous views in all directions. Spacious, comfortable, and super-clean property. If mobility is an issue, be aware there are lots of steps (i think we counted 65 from road level to our bedroom at the very top), but this wasn't a problem for us and those views were so worth it ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Skiddaw Skies.
Fantastic house for group of 7 on an outdoor girls weekend. House furnished to high standard, bonus of so many bathrooms. Location is perfect for town and walks from the doorstep. We will definitely return. Off street parking which is hard to find in this area.
We stayed at Park View for a 5 night break in April. We loved the the location of the property which gave us immediate access to Hope Park and was only a short walk to Friar’s Cragg and the launch. The property is well decorated and facilities were excellent - loved having a washer dryer to clean up our walking gear! Kitchen utensils and appliances were in great condition which enabled us to cook a few nights which we like to do. Only issue we encountered were the noisy bin men twice a week, anrriving around 6am! We had 5 days at Swallows Lodge & the accommodation is first class. Cosy, warm & spotless. I honestly can't think of anything that could be improved. Excellent quality of furnishings. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen including washing machine & drier, which we did use due to the weather being wet at times. Amazing views of Derwentwater & hills & enclosed garden which our dog loved. Would highly recommend & we will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Had a lovely week at appletree, the house is beautiful, clean and spacious. The house is well equipped with everything you require (except an ash bucket to empty the ashes from the fire). Location is ideal with walks from the door step and a walk into keswick was only 20 mins. Excellent cafe in the village for refreshments after a long walk. Would highly recommend
We loved the cottage, amazing views, very comfortable with loads of parking. The bungalow is very spacious, loved the Love Seat room. Short drive into lovely Keswick town centre We had an amazing stay and love the Lake District.
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Red Robin and we still love it. We love the location as it takes under 10 mins to walk to the centre of Keswick. We love the comfort and decor of Red Robin too. It’s very comfy and cosy which is just what you need after a long day hiking. We also have a dog so the enclosed garden is a bonus. We loved our stay and the wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Red Robin to others

The apartment is very well located, just a short minute's walk from shops and amenities, with the added bonus of 2 allocated car parking spaces. The apartment is very spacious, very well appointed and beautifully clean. Our only issue was with the traffic noise from the main road right outside the 2 front bedrooms which meant sleep was at a premium, and there was very little soundproofing from the apartment above. Shame because it really is a great apartment.
This is now our 2nd stay at 5 the townhouse and cant wait to return in December it has everything you need for a stay in keswick. The cleanliness is spot on . The location is great literally a 2 min walk into town beautiful views either side of the property. Riva even knows where's she staying when we visit Keswick . Everyone at keswick cottages are helpful thanks to sarah hogarth again and all the team there's only one thing wrong and that's the leaving . We booked Greta House via Keswick Cottages after arriving in Keswick to our AirBnB property which wasn’t as described. We called Keswick Cottages at 4pm on Friday and were in the property by 5.30pm. Greta House is lovely. Really well designed with a great use of space. Everything is well kept and maintained. The thing that makes the property so special though is the garden. It backs directly onto the river, is well designed with comfortable furniture and a BBQ. We were able to sit outside by the river due to the sunny weather. Our dog loved the space too. Sheepfold Barn was the perfect location for my weekend with friends! It's rural location gave us the peace we all wanted and privacy to use the hot tub without concerns about people looking. It is located at the end of farm track but despite the recent wet weather it wasn't too muddy and was easy to navigate. It's interiors are to die for and the house is well stocked with everything you could need, we all came away wishing we could live there full time! A lovely centrally located upstairs apartment. It was comfortable and fully equipped, with everything you could possibly need: from picnic equipment and board games to umbrellas.
Had a fantastic week in Rock Lynn. Clean, comfortable and everything you should need for a week away. Really comfortable bed and amazing views. Fantastic location and a lovely village with 3 pubs within walking distance as well as a bistro serving breakfast and lunches. Highly recommend this beautiful cottage.

Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area.

We've stayed at this lovely apartment several times and are never disappointed. The setting is perfect, it's always immaculate and provides everything we need for a comfortable stay. Being so close to the supermarket, bus stops and the town centre we rarely need to use the car, if at all. We can highly recommend this little gem.
A lovely cottage set in the heart of Braithwaite. Lovely views of the hills and woodland from the garden and very quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed and everything was very comfortable. A very modern feel to the property and and lovely deep bath with plenty of warm water for baths and showers. We did have a problem getting the heating to come on but as it wasn’t particularly cold it wasn’t a huge issue though the towel rail didn’t come on all week. This is the second time we have stayed at Jasmine Cottage. It is cosy and comfortable with all that you might need for a March visit to the Lakes. The sunroom is a lovely extra space.
Greta Howe is a lovely property in a perfect location. Just a small tip for future guests, I’d avoid putting the washing machine on before bed, as when it goes into the spin cycle the vibrations travel through the property and can wake you up. We’d definitely consider booking again. The staff at Keswick Cottages were superb as well, I phoned them twice before our visit and they were really helpful both times. Thankyou.

The cottage was in a prime location to all the amenities and a short trip to the beautiful countryside for walks. The cottage fulfilled all our needs and was very comfortable. You only needed to look out if the window to see lots of wildlife. Sadly we had to cut our stay short but we will definitely be booking this cottage again.
Lovely bedrooms and lounge Surface clean only. Great location.Disgusting toilet brushes. Fridge far too small for 8 people. Kitchen needs attention. Heating either freezing or boiling coming on at odd times one day it was -4 and didn’t come on until 9am so house was very cold. Expected higher standard for the price. Other issues too. Would not recommend or stay again unless changes made. Feedback sent to company 2 days ago with no response as yet.
The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. We struggled with the hob as it clicks off every time we put the pan on and hadnt used that sort of hob before so took a while to figure it out. It was a lovely place to stay. Thank you for letting us stay there.
A really lovely little apartment, perfect for me, my husband and dog. Well equipt, lovely comfortable sofa and bed. Perfectly positioned for all the shops, bars and restaurants in Keswick and the car parking space was a bonus (albeit tight!) We will Definitely come back again :)
Location is great, two parking spaces makes life so easy. We don’t use the car at all once we get to Keswick, local buses are just so reliable. The cottage itself is very comfortable, everything you need to prep and cook in the kitchen, two bathrooms, very nice sitting room for relaxed evenings. Pretty ideal really, we’ve been three times and will return.
Easy to book a last minute getaway over the phone. Shortly after payment we received an email confirming the booking and providing full details of the property, key safe number, location etc. The property is very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Parking space in Keswick a great bonus, and location is very central, just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of town. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit the lake District, and would recommend the property to family and friends. Thank you.

A great holiday let for walks around Keswick. The house was large enough for us all with great social spaces. Easy walk into the town to the pub and shops. Very comfortable house and had all we needed for our short break. Parking space quite tight. Only downside hence the three for customer service was that we did find the emails and texts about leaving a little intruding, felt we were reminded about obligations to leave when we’d just arrived, you might wish to review this when the stay is a short three night stay.
Beautiful apartment, lovely furnishings and great central location. Our only complaint was we couldn’t get the oven to work, it definitely needs replacing as seems a bit old.
Spacious property, within walking distance of town. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). Some areas of 5he property were a little dusty otherwise clean. The kitchen is rather small for a property of its size making it a bit difficult to have more than one person using it at a time, and bath a bit tight to get in/out of. Beds comfy.

Fantastic little cottage in a great location in Keswick with all the shops and restaurants on your doorstep. I have stayed here before so had no problem locating the property, the cottage was clean and generally in good condition with almost everything you could need for your stay. As others have mentioned the parking here is very tight and even though I only had a VW Golf the person staying in the holiday let next door decided to bring a full size Range Rover Velar which meant it was impossible to get the car out whilst all the parking spaces were occupied, not really an issue for me but if ...more
After many years of visiting and staying in various guest houses, houses and apartments, we have found our perfect stay, A great property in a quiet location just off the town centre. This 2 floor apartment is very spacious and well-equipped. All the rooms are large and comfortable. We loved the view of Catbells and other mountains from the living room bay window. We can't recommend this property highly enough.
We had a wonderful stay with our dogs. It is a lovely fully equipped cosy cottage with great views. It’s is in a lovely spot of Braithwaite. The only warning is to be VERY careful leaving the drive as it’s on a blind bend in both directions on a single car road. The garden is lovely and I imagine it will be beautiful to sit outside in Summer.
There was only one fault and that was the settees were really uncomfortable for us and we couldn’t relax otherwise everything else was spot on

Amazing cottage in the centre of Keswick, finished to a very high standard. The bed was really comfy, just what was needed after exploring the surrounding area. The bathroom was very roomy and the shower (both waterfall and rainfall settings) was fabulous. Millie the cockapoo especially enjoyed her welcome gift, a lovely personal touch.

The apartment was conveniently situated, well equipped, and warm. There was an issue with a towel rail not well fixed to the wall, one of the drawers was awkward to use and the single beds needed mattress toppers, in my view. Having said that I would definitely recommend the property for a stay in Keswick
This is our 4th stay at Gretaside, and it was excellent as usual. The position of the flat is excellent for going off walking all day, returning home either via the chip shop for a lazy night in, or coming home, getting changed and going for a night out in Keswick. Unfortunately there is a slight issue with a leaky kitchen window, which has got worse since our last visit, but it doesn’t spoil our stay, or put us off returning, but it does look a little unsightly. Lovely, well appointed property in central Keswick with easy access to the town centre. Since the property is split over three levels there are plenty of stairs, but if you don't mind that the views are great.
This was our first holiday where we needed a pet-friendly property (for our daughter's dog!) and Byways was great. The small enclosed patio area was ideal for 'you know what' and the property is very well equipped. Although there is no dedicated parking space, we managed to park directly outside the property, and there was plenty of additional on-street parking in the vicinity. Also, the residential area was very quiet, yet only a few minutes stroll into the centre of Keswick for the many pubs and cafes. We would definitely recommend Byways and will be back in the future.
We booked a last minute stay at the Fellseeker and contacted the team directly to help with booking as we were looking for a dog friendly property. All of the booking team could not have been more helpful, excellent communication from the staff, who immediately sent over all booking information and directions to the property. On arrival at the property, it was lovely inside and very clean. The location is excellent. I would definitely book here again and could not recommend it enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The property is in an excellent location. Communication with Keswick cottages prior to our arrival and the information provided is also excellent. We were a party of ten and the accommodation was spacious enough for us all. The bedrooms are all a really good size and generally everyone agreed the beds and pillows were all comfortable. The bed on the 3rd floor was in need of some attention as it was a metal bed that was squeaky and had a lot of movement in the frame. We had a wonderful stay in Shelley Cottage, great location, comfortable and incredible views! Very comfortable and relaxing, just off the main road but still felt peaceful! we enjoyed the garden as well!
This property is great value for money. Could do with a little bit of deor makeover in living room , a bit dated (sorry).but this may put people off which is otherwise a great rental. Very comfortable beds, bedrooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. One bedroom at the top of the property has a great view of Latrigg and Skiddaw on your own private balcony with chairs and a table. Great for a coffee on a morning . We had a lovely stay. Perfect location. Great size. Nice and homely. Beds comfy. Kitchen Well equipped. We had doggy welcome packs and an essentials kit. Milk coffee etc. very useful arriving late. Close parking and bonus car park across the way. Downsides…. The shower didn’t drain great and the overall cleanliness could have been better. For us a grassed area would have been handy for fussy dogs but we just went over the road. None of the minuses would stop us from re booking. Keswick cottages communication was great. We are an active 70+ couple who have visited the Lakes for 30+ years. On arrival the keysafe proved too difficult to open and after 30 mins of fruitless attempts a call to the office for assistance in gaining access was necessary. The issue was resolved quickly in a most friendly manner. Once inside a couple of minor maintenance issues were identified (these things happen) but again, these were soon resolved. Roslin is a lovely house in an excellent location for accessing Keswick and surrounding fells. The house was clean and well equipped. The garden is lovely and there are beautiful views from all aspects. Parking on site. This was our third stay and I would happily recommend and hope to return again in the future.
Enjoyed our stay, (4 adults) plenty of space and very handy for the town. Downstairs bedroom is handy for those who can't manage the stairs but the bed is very creaky.
Overall we had a good week at Cragside Cottage, right beside a crag with sheep grazing. Lovely open-plan living area and large Smart TV which the grandchildren loved. Modern kitchen, but could have done with slightly smaller dinner plates which actually fitted in the dishwasher and pans which weren’t so heavy. We had been assured the patio area would be fenced off by the time we went, but there was nowhere to sit out at all. But it was in a good setting, very easy to park and handy for a number of beauty spots.
Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. The water levels were incredibly high when we arrived so couldn't make the best use of the launches as we have in the past but enjoyed a trip later in the week. Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up and dangerous wiring. Bungalow has amazing views from lounge and kitchen. Lovely kitchen with plenty of storage space and bonus having dishwasher. Super comfy bed in the main bedroom and great to have plenty, practical furniture such as wardrobe and draws and not just a few hangers and shelves. As in previous reviews the settee is uncomfortable especially sitting for long periods of time. Hot tub was great although felt a bit weird going out the front door to go through gate to steps down to it. It's not far into the centre about 5-10 min walk and in a nice quiet area.
