We stayed at the Spinney for 3 nights over the New Year (2024/2025) period. Upon arriving the lodge was prepared perfectly for us, it was warm and cosy with a nice welcome pack including milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. Soon after settling in, Mike came around to check everything was okay with our lodge, which was nice from the owner and to ensure if we had any problems he was on hand with his team to help. The kitchen was well stocked with items to get us through our stay, the bedroom was very comfy and the bathroom was great with the huge walk in shower, the hot tub was great acros...more
First time staying at Strawberryfields Park. Beautiful lodges. Super clean. A great base to visit all the attractions and having a hot tub is icing on the cake. We would definitely recommend this place as a great place to chill & unwind.
We chose Amber lodge where we have stayed on many occasions. Booking is always so easy, staff are very helpful. The park itself is always clean and well maintained. Amber lodge is our favourite, its spacious with high quality fittings, and a lovely new sofa. The bed is huge and really comfortable, and we love the shower. The hot tub is very secluded and private. Such a lovely relaxing holiday we will definitely be returning.
This lodge is amazing, it has everything you need and more. Look forward to coming back again. I will be recommending you to family and friends.
We have been to Strawberry field park around 5 times now staying in different lodges. We are hoping to get through them all. Cheddar pink is a gorgeous lodge right at the back of the park with lovely views. It's very private. Lodge itself is like a tardis, beautiful decor with two super kingsize rooms with their own rain shower. Fully equipped kitchen and top of the range TV I would definitely recommend Cheddar Pink.
Another perfect week away at Strawberry Fields, different lodge this time but still the same standard. Very clean on arrival. Hot tub just perfect and good to see it being checked every morning. We love the peace and quiet that the park offers, we could have been the only ones there. Will definitely be returning!

Both of our birthdays are on the same day....this gets away in Orchard lodge was the perfect treat for both of us. The hot tub was great and used every night, the lodge was well equipped, comfortable, with touches of luxury, such as the bathroom with it's standalone bath and double walk-in shower. Perfect place for a romantic getaway at any time of the year
Myself and my partner had an absolutely amazing stay in Combe Hay for New Year. The pictures when I booked it actually didn't do it justice. Its a really large spacious cabin, beautifully decorated and all 5* amenities. Loved the twinkly lights and the hot tub was fabulous. The surrounding area is lovely and the manual in the lodge gives plenty of ideas on where to go, eat etc. We would 100% return again.
Had an amazing week staying at Perry Lodge, amazing lodge with everything you need for a wonderful stay . Nothing was too much trouble, I recommend to anyone thinking of staying at a lodge , go to Strawberry Fields, it's a beautiful very quiet , you will have the best time, Thank-you so much for a fantastic Week away x
Another super stay, this time in Burrington. Super facilities and clean with all mod cons for a relaxing stay. Large lodge and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The team members we did see were very polite and friendly. Couple of things this time, the super smart TV seemed to keep turning itself off, no idea why and the hot tub, with the exception of day one was only a best warm, showing 35, which was questionable. As it was a stay over new year we did not bother the team to try and sort. All that said, this is an amazing place to stay, and will certainly be back. As an added poi...more
We have visited this park numerous times over the past few years. Staying in Mulberry, Deer Leap, Nyland, The Sleights & Pamela’s Meadow. We love the huge corner sofa & log burner in Pamela’s Meadow. So cosy for the winter. All the lodges are beautiful inside, furnished to a high standard and the best equipped lodges we have visited. I’m sure we will be back in 2025!
What's not to love, beautiful cabins, in a stunning location. We had a wonderful apres Christmas and new year break.
Strawberryfield Park is set in a beautiful part of Somerset. The lodges are stunning in all respects and offer a holiday that can't fail to relax and rejuvenate at any time of the year.
We had a lovely time at Strawberryfield Park. The lodge we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our short break. The hot tub and decked area were also great, we visited in Feb but it would be perfect for sitting out in warmer weather. A secure area to let dogs off the lead safely or a small area of enclosed grass attached to the lodge would have been great. The park itself is small and quiet which we liked with the Cider Barn being a great place to go for a drink and food. The atmosphere was friendly and we were made to feel so welcome with our dog. We had pizza...more
This was our 2nd stay at the park. The first time was 2018, without a dog. Blackbird Lodge is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the complimentary wine, water, biscuits and pint of milk. We liked the thoughtful doggie biscuits and towel. The hot tub is amazing and the daily checks a comfort to know. We stayed with friends who hadn’t been before and they also loved it. The park is in a good location close to many tourist spots. The only suggestion I would make is a bigger enclosed space for dogs to run around a bit and maybe a grassed area by the lodge for those bedtime an...more
This was our third visit to Strawberry Field Park and won’t be our last. The lodge was first class as always and we enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing four days. We did however have to report that the tv was faulty and we had an issue with the shower tap. The friendly and attentive staff immediately attended to both issues and supplied us with a bottle of fizz for the inconvenience. We would recommend the park to anyone wanting a relaxing break away from it all.
Booked the accommodation for a pre Christmas mini-break after a tough year. Before we arrived, we were contacted to inform us that the log burner in our lodge was out of action but there was no issue in moving us to another lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful in facilitating this. The accommodation was superb, very clean with all amenities available, including a hot tub. Very relaxing and we were able to chill out. The site was in a beautiful location within the Cheddar Gorge, very close to both the town of Cheddar and the city of Wells, with its stunning Cathedral and ...more
Been coming to Strawberryfields for several years now and Cedar Lodge has been far the best. The extra bed room and bathroom proved to be excellent for us to have the grandchildren stop over for a sleep over. The Lodge is well appointed and has everything needed for a great self-catering break. Looking forward to returning in 2025.
Visited Strawberryfield Park for 3 years running now and we love it. Perfcetly located to get around the sights and the lodges are beautiful and well equipt.
We had the most amazing stay at Charterhouse on Strawberryfield Park. The lodge was incredible with beautiful views and a welcome gift on arrival. Amenities were all close by and the area was easy to get around. We will definitely be back!
We arrived at Mulberry lodge for a 3 night stay and were instantly stunned by the tranquility and high standard of the lodge! The whole place was so comfortable and homely and the location is just fantastic and calm. Cheddar town is just a short car journey or a leisurely stroll away. We absolutely loved the lodge, there were a few minor wear and tear signs in the lodge such as the blinds by the log burner and a couple of lights out in the kitchen and bathroom but this did not ruin anything at all, would 100% return to the same lodge regardless. Already planning our return trip!
Booked for my 40th birthday and we had a great time, the cabin was spotless and location all fab too.
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children age 13 and 9) had a great 2 night stay at The Retreat to celebrate my husband's 50th. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and very well equipped - we felt very at home! The wood burner made it very cosy (remember to bring matches/firelighters/kindling/logs - we forgot and had to dash to the shop!) and once the heating kicked in the lodge was very cosy and warm during a freezing spell in January. The cold weather didn't stop us using the hot tub though - which was a huge hit with all of us, especially the kids! Bath robes and extra towels provided...more
