We celebrated New Year in the Pomegranate Lodge. This was our second stay at Strawberryfield Park after spending a week in April 2025. The lodge was a lot bigger than we thought and was in a really peaceful location. There was so much space and we were really pleased with the comfort on offer. The outside seating area was an added bonus and the hot tub too! We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! There was a coffee machine, large fridge freezer, fantastic tv but the ultimate luxury was the bathroom. I am sure we will return again soon.
Worthy of the 5 star rating, StrawberryField Park is in a great location and delivers on the superior accommodation rating. Clean, high end and well finished. Relaxing location and a great opportunity to recharge in peace. The Cider Barn remains the quirky establishment onsite with friendly locals and visitors alike, a fab contrast in venue to the overall site, which just makes it better. The food offering is also on point Highly recommended on all fronts.
Everything was lovely and just what we expected the only point I would like to make is that the sofa was very soft and low down which made it difficult to get off. Probably okay if you haven’t got creaking knees!
Great lodge with excellent facilities and the bonus a hot tub in a peaceful location. Ideal for exploring around Cheddar, Wells and beyond. Enjoyed the Cider barn which was very close by with live music on Sundays. Would highly recommend Strawberryfields Park
Second time staying at Strawberryfields Park and first time in this lodge. The lodge was lovely and clean and all necessities were provided for along with added extras which were a lovely touch. The area is lovely and quiet and close to great places in Somerset. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!
This is our second stay at Orchard lodge. Last year for our mini moon and this year for our 1 year anniversary. Strawberryfield Park is truly a home away from home. Clean and tidy, all amenities needed, hot tub is fabulous. The site is quiet and the perfect retreat. Highly recommend!
The lodge was very nice the relaxing chair was missing (from lodge photos) which was a shame on the whole the lodge is in good condition the hot tub was nice and had been cleaned to a high standard but the decking area around the hot tub needs replacing it has rotted in a number of areas
Our party of 4 celebrating a 60th birthday had a great time, lodge was very nicely furnished with ever you could need self catering. A bottle of wine greeted up on arrival which was a nice touch. Folders in bookcase gave all the information you might need and we ordered a Chinese takeaway delivered to our lodge during our stay which was very nice. We had a couple of small issues but called Mike on the site and he fixed them very quickly thank you Mike. This was our 3rd stay in Coombe Hay lodge, it’s in a great location with a hot tub and large decking area.
First time visitors to Strawberryfield Park. We stayed in Batcombe Lodge as honeymooners. We found the lodge to be clean and finished to a very high spec. It certainly felt luxurious. The area is quiet and peaceful, though some landscape maintenance did take place during the daytime. The park is so well situated as a base between points of interest such as Cheddar Gorge (5 mins drive away), Glastonbury (30 mins) and Wells (15 mins). Stunning lodge, set in beautiful Somerset. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay, beautiful hot tub. Pizza's from the Cider Barn were delicious.
The lodge was beautiful and has everything you need and more. Its our 4th time staying here and each time it has been amazing. The lodge is perfect and always in good condition, but even the small touches of attention to detail just make it a great place to stay. We will be back again and cabt recommend any higher.
Beautiful lodge lovely and relaxed. Very private hot tub was relaxing to. Enjoyed my many stays with strawberry fields. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Will be back next year.
Our first time staying at Strawberry field park, we were staying with family who have stayed many times before. We loved everything about our stay the cabin was spotless and so well equipped. Beautiful bathroom and powerful shower. Bed very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub or the fire but I’m sure we will on another visit. The cabin is well located for cheddar and Wells.
Nice lodges with hot tubs. The site has been well thought out with the outdoor space of the accommodation not overlooked by other lodges making you feel secluded.
Another amazing stay at Strawberry Fields Park, we have tried a few lodges and all are a very high standard, each decorated and furnished uniquely. Deer leap is our favourite as tucked away from the others. We do stay at quiet times of the year. In the summer Dear Leap may not be so quiet as very close to the Cider Barn which holds music events. Cannot fault the cleanliness on arrival and the attention to detail. The hot tub is very well maintained. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The lodges at Strawberry Fields can be used as a welcome get a way to help calm those winter blues. Lovely decor, nicely set out, well appointed, quiet and most importantly warm. The jacuzzi was nice but we only used it once. Location is great for Wells and visiting the caves etc. Overall a nice stay.
Our second time at strawberry fields. Stayed in Cedar lodge . The park was clean, well maintained and very quiet. The lodge was excellent, very comfy beds and everything you needed, and a few extras on arrival, water wine etc. Hot tub a little small for four adults. We enjoyed our stay, nice peaceful break to chill and relax . we would recommend.

We had an amazing stay.4adults and 1 dog..plenty of room and very relaxing space . The log burner was a real winner too to add to the cosiness
We had an enjoyable stay at Whileaway Lodge. The decor of the main living area was really nice and welcoming and we appreciated the welcome gifts. It would great to have the basic necessities to keep us going. We found we were well placed for visiting all of the places we wanted to, really close to cheddar gorge. The location was lovely and quiet and the customer service was great.
We had a lovely stay in Mulberry lodge, very cosy with everything you need, A nice big bed and also a large shower and the bath were nice touches. We walked to near by Cheddar for a roast dinner at The Bath Arms which we would also recommend, and of course checked out the Gorge, we struggle to get a taxi so walked back so be aware and inquire before hand! We will deffo be back maybe in the Summer for the beaches.
We stayed at ‘The Sleight’s for the weekend as a couple with a 9 year old and a Frenchie. This lodge was spotless and of a high spec. It had everything you could need or want. We made use of the hot tub and log burner and had a lovely relaxing weekend. The welcome gifts of wine, water, milk and dog biscuits were a lovely gesture. Location is great and we loved our meals out in the restaurants that are recommended in the welcome pack. We loved our break so much we have booked to come back next month to a different lodge for my husbands birthday!
Great accommodation, everything you needed was provided and all good quality and condition. Quiet location, comfortable and relaxing stay. Friendly staff and nice welcome pack of goodies. Would stay again and hope for better weather next time.
