Nothing was too much trouble for Sandra and Les our hosts. Spacious accommodation to a high standard with endless supply of logs for wood burner. Highly recommend this property for walking in the Yorkshire Dales.
Another lovely stay in Masham with family, who were visiting for the first time. Liz and Colin were great hosts and we enjoyed the lovely treats in the welcome hamper! The house was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. We ate at the King's Head in the market place and the White Bear Inn. Plus our usual visit to Johnny Bagdad's. All highly recommended. We will definitely be back next year hopefully for the steam rally weekend! Many thanks Colin and Liz!
We loved our time in Ripon, it was a lovely place with quite a few options for pubs, restaurants and places to explore, all within walking distance. The cottage itself was beautiful, well equipped and spotlessly clean, and Katharine made us, and our dog, feel very welcome. We can't recommend the Hayloft enough, if we are back in Ripon, we will definitely book it again, 5 stars! :-)
Lovely clean and comfortable cottage with off street parking. Kitchen was really well equipped. Great area for walking with walks direct from the door. Good pubs within walking distance.
We felt at home in Cobblestone Cottage, everything was clean and well looked after. Katherine and Pete were very friendly, and they left us a really good welcome pack too. There is a plenty to do in the area and the cottage is only a fifteen minute walk from the town centre. Lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from. The three museums were interesting, and we were lucky enough to be in the cathedral when the choir and a brass band were practicing. A very enjoyable stay.
Everything was fine although my wife found the mattress a touch hard. The weather was not the best but we did enjoy our stay .
And another visit back to Green Bank! Superb home, beautifully furnished with lots of character, We love West Burton and Green Bank
Imagine your dream of a cottage in the country and you find most of it in Barton, friendly owners nearby, quiet setting, log fire, big comfortable bed, all mod cons for self catering, village green view, Inn, shop and cafe over the road, waterfall on entrance to the village, plenty of walks and quiet roads, lovely.
Jesmond Cottage is the perfect home from home where every little detail for a comfortable stay has been thought of. Situated in the beautiful and peaceful West Burton it’s a great location to be based. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage and booking through Country Hideaways was very straightforward and we would definitely book though them again.
Hill top Cottage has everything you need for a perfect getaway. It's comfy and cosy and situated in splendid isolation and yet ideally located for visiting the Yorkshire Dales top places to visit. Well equipped and tastefully decorated we have stayed here many times. A warm welcome awaits and plenty of wildlife to see what more could you wish for.

Apart from being an excellent apartment and great service by letting agents and the owners it is so close to hotels restaurants and cafes which means unless you want to you never need to use your car. No parking worries as the apartment provides a dedicated parking space within the house location. The apartment is beautiful and well looked after and lovely place to stay with good heating and perfect amenities .

This is an excellent property located near a local waterfall. A good place for walking. However, finding things under cover when it rains means long car trips.
This was our first stay Briar cottage and we found it clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location for exploring the Dales. Not being pet owners ourselves we have often been put off from staying in accommodation that allows pets, worrying that hairs may be visible on the floor and furniture. This was not the case here as the cottage was spotless. We enjoyed watching the horses on their way to the gallops each morning after a great nights sleep in a very quiet town. We will return again.
Nothing lacking in the cottage. Fantastic location, beds very comfortable, lovely and quiet, home form home.
Our second stay at the Hay Barn. We love the peace and quiet there and the cottage provides everything you need. Beds are really comfortable, too!
Great location , well equipped kitchen ,lovely garden a advantage , beds and bedding very disappointing very poor , , but the cottage itself is very dated and poor quality been holidaying in various cottages with Country Hideaways and always would recommend the other cottages but not this one
Great location. Good to have a welcome pack quite rare these days. Low cost big value. One thingI have taken away from our week in Karnten -ensure any future booking has a downstairs loo. Overall good value.
