We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Holly Tree Cottage. The cottage is perfect for us and has everything you could need. We are looking forward to returning soon. The mostly sunny weather was a real bonus!
We were very welcomed by a warm and cosy home . There were fresh flowers , cake , biscuits and savoury snacks plus a choice of alcohol in the fridge . The beds were very comfortable and had good quality bedding . There was plenty of towels . The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need .

This was our third visit to Barton Cottage and as always it was a shock to the system when Saturday came back round and it was time to leave. The cottage is ideally situated in the centre of the village, across the Green from the pub and the shop. We have never had an issue with parking in front of the property. It was warm and cosy, the coal fire was an added bonus in November. We slept well all week. The only thing it perhaps lacks is a washing machine but as someone who doesn't understand the concept of packing lightly it's never going to be an issue for me. Very clean comfortable & spacious accommodation in a quiet location but just a short stroll into Masham with excellent local amenities. Colin & Liz are very friendly hosts & would definitely recommend.
Small but perfect for a short break for two. Excellent location, clean, comfortable and warm, everything we wanted and some lovely goodies too.
This was our third stay at Green Bank and we always love it. The cottage is very comfortable, and has everything you can possibly need. There is also loads of space, and the open fire with plenty of coal is always a winner after a days walking in the Dales. We will be back for a fourth visit soon.

Another relaxing week in cosy Hilltop Cottage. Accommodation very good, owner nearby to troubleshoot any issues. We will return again to recharge our batteries from City life. Well equipped and centrally located with easy parking. Very convenient for local shops and hostelries.
Very comfortable house, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Great showers and good wifi. Well equipped although could do with some larger pans. Peaceful location with views over farmland and countryside, walks possible from the door. Easy access to Ripon and the Dales. A great stay.
Had a great week in Burnside View, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Downstairs was great for leaving walking jackets, boots, sticks, etc. Accommodation has everything you need. Great views front and back. Already booked for next Spring.
What an amazing place for our family get-together. Huge house to accommodate 3 generations in 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges and games room. Everything you would need in a wonderfully isolated location. Surprisingly warm with the Aga and real fires, electric blankets, deep filled duvets and comfy beds. Internet connection was poor; but to be honest, we saw that as a positive; facilitating more traditional family games and fun. Our enquiries were answered immediately, and want to thank or hosts wholeheartedly. Definitely a property to revisit.
Tucked away off the main road in the village of Newbiggin, the house is a converted agricultural building. It's the home of the owners for part of the year and so everything is of fine quality. It has a beautiful, well appointed kitchen and a separate dining area, leading on to a cosy sitting room. Upstairs are two comfortable double bedrooms with en suite facilities. The only thing that I found a bit difficult is the unpredictable temperature of the water. The shower was too hot and on turning it down it went straight to cold. My mother stayed at this cottage for a week with her 2 dogs, and I visited for a few nights too. It was a very well-equipped cottage, and we were impressed with the underfloor heating and efficient stove, which coped well with the sub-zero temperatures. It snowed heavily whilst we were there, which did make the long farm track quite difficult to navigate, but the farmer who owns the cottage was very helpful about clearing the track with his tractor. This property is in a beautiful peaceful location with a spectacular view. Settees very comfortable. Lounge / kitchen / dining area good. Great shower. I slept fairly well, mattress firm but quite comfortable. Internet is a bit unreliable but I guess that what comes of being out in the sticks! The property could definitely do with some drawers in the bedroom. The cushions on the settee were grubby and those on the bed were scruffy with pulled threads on them. We have stayed quite a few times at Ivy Cottage. We love it and it holds many special memories . For the Welsh it is "cwtch", for the Swede's it is "hygge".
One of the nicest holiday cottages I have stayed in. The interior seemed brand new and the kitchen was very well equipped. Sitting outside in the sunshine, the only sounds are from the birds. The nearest village is only 10 mins drive away and has a superb butchers, which also stocks fruit& veg and cheeses. The local shop sells papers, bread and essentials. Ripon is a short distance away for supermarkets. The cottage is ideally situated to visit the wide range of attractions which that part of Yorkshire has to offer.
