The apartment was extremely well looked after with beautiful furnishings. There is everything you need to fully self cater as we did. There is plenty of easy parking. The area is beautiful for walking & it is situated with easy access to main roads for travelling the area. Would certainly revisit
During this, our third stay at Holly Tree Cottage, we were again so impressed by the property, its location and facilities. Allan and Donna maintain the Cottage to such a high standard, something we have come to expect from Country Hideaways properties. This year the weather was slightly less kind than previous visits but we did find that, staying local to the village, we came across a wonderful welcoming community from the local church and within the village itself that really enriched our holiday. This was our third stay at The Hay Loft, and it won’t be our last. It’s a very cosy cottage perfect for two, with everything you could want or need for a lovely holiday.
Lovely house to stay in for a week away in this great part of the country. Very peaceful - loved having no neighbours next door! This was our second visit and we would definitely stay again when we are next in this area. Liz, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.
Cottage was lovely with everything we needed. Good central location for walking or touring by car. Village was friendly and the few shops meant that we didn't need to travel to a supermarket. Really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend to anyone.
As always a great quiet, friendly, and comfortable retreat. Ideal situation fot that part of The Dales.

Not the first time..and not the last! The village is beautiful. The dales around are scenic and peaceful. Green Bank house is extremely well furnished and well kept in every way. Faultless. Will return with friends whenever we can. Thanks to the owners, who ring in to check all is well.
Have visited West Burton on many occasions and for the last 4-5 visits have stayed in Jesmond Cottage. It is small but cosy and ideal for 2-3 people with the best bedroom I have ever stayed in.
3rd visit to the cottage so we must enjoy . Again everything to a high standard with all facilities available and easy access to the town centre.
Well equiped and comfortable cottage in a lovely village. Perfect for walking in Wensleydale. We had a very enjoyable stay!
This cottage is a really good place, it has absolutely everything we need. Comfortable bed and feather duvet and pillows. Luxurious! The kitchen is adequate, it wasn’t my plan to spend my holiday cooking, but if it had been, the kitchen could cope. Great shower room. Masham is a lovely little town. Everything is walkable. We would be happy to return.
Burnside View is a comfy, clean, well equipped flat near the centre of Hawes. We keep returning because it is ideal for walking holidays but with a bit of luxury. The agency and owners provide excellent customer service and the flat provides very good value for money. There are plenty of good facilities in Hawes - great pubs and restaurants - and being on the Pennine Way and close to the Three Peaks, it is in a perfect location. Thank you for letting us stay. We will definitely be back.
A very comfortable cottage, very clean and well maintained. Lots of space, good heating and excellent wifi. Good views across the countryside and lots of walking and cycling from the door, with Ripon, Pateley Bridge and Masham in easy reach. saw deer, rabbits, hares and a barn owl from the house. A very relaxing stay and great value for money.
A lovely house in a beautiful location well equipped for our family of 10. Our grandchildren loved the garden / games room and the new born lambs and very sad when it was time to come home. They also said when can we go back
This is our fourth stay at the Old Wheelhouse. It feels like coming home. The flat is cozy and well appointed. The village is lovely and the falls are stunning. We look forward to the next visit.
Jo and Nadine at Country Hideaways were very helpful and flexible in sorting out a week in this delightful cottage. Not our first visit to the Dales or this cottage, just love the area and the comfortable cottage. It certainly won’t be our last visit either!
We had a delightful week at Briar cottage. The location was excellent and we had everything we needed. Parking was a bit hit and miss outside as sometimes other cars were parked there when we returned each day but there was always a space near by. Lovely food at the Richard 111 pub and the 3 antique shops were great. Handy shop too. Recommend a visit to the Forbidden corner!

We really enjoyed our second visit to Warren Barn. Very clean and comfortable, lovely views from the Barn and surrounding area. Although the weather was not as good as our previous visit, we still managed to visit lots of lovely Towns and Villages around the Dales, lots of dog friendly tea rooms and pubs. Looking forward to our next visit.

Needless to say, that the scenery of the Dales is in general stunning and we have spent a wonderful time there. The location of the house is really good. Quiet and very close to the magnificent waterfall. Regarding the house itself, It is a bit unusual that the kitchen and the living room are upstairs and the bedrooms are on the ground floor. The only real complaint was that the door knob on the inside of the twin room was loose, so one could only pull the door shut by the coat hooks. One of the nicest holiday cottages I have stayed in. The interior seemed brand new and the kitchen was very well equipped. Sitting outside in the sunshine, the only sounds are from the birds. The nearest village is only 10 mins drive away and has a superb butchers, which also stocks fruit& veg and cheeses. The local shop sells papers, bread and essentials. Ripon is a short distance away for supermarkets. The cottage is ideally situated to visit the wide range of attractions which that part of Yorkshire has to offer.
